Agreed. He has a much easier path to win a championship in the ACC than coming to the toughest division in CFB, The SEC West.

Alabama is the only reason that argument holds any water. Texas A&M is a joke, Bielema will never have any real success at Arky, I think Auburn will end up firing Malzahn within ~3 years, and the Mississippi schools might put together a halfway decent team every few years, but they are no threat to ever sustain success for a long time. So basically, that argument boils down to, "It's easier if you're not in the same division as Saban." I don't think Jimbo is afraid of competing with Saban, and even if he is, Saban is an old man.
I'm a little surprised by the talk, even from guys like Matt Moscona that usually try to be a little more realistic in terms of expectations, that are all saying that LSU could just "not take no for an answer" from Jimbo. What does that mean? I'm going to assume they aren't advocating the use of force, so I guess they just mean offer him more money than FSU. ACC schools typically don't pay as much SEC schools, and that's of HCs as well as money for assistants. But FSU could put up a significant amount of money if they wanted to. I'm sure we could outspend them, but just for example, what if they're willing to pay him 15 million a year? They could afford it, and we can afford to outbid them at 16, but would that be smart? I don't think so.

I know Jimbo was OC here for a long time, but all that talk about "He loves it here!" is almost always bullshite.
I think Cam has what it takes to be a good offensive coordinator, at least on the college level, but after getting canned by the Ravens, I think him taking the LSU job was really just his way of giving up. He's Les's buddy, and Les brought him in because he knew he wouldn't fight him. Remember when we hired him and everyone was sure he'd be leaving us for another NFL gig in a year or 2? Hilarious...

If Cam does get fired, it won't be so much because he's a scapegoat as it will be a way of Alleva letting Les know that things are serious, and he better make some changes if he wants to hang on much longer. Unless we go 0-3, I don't see Alleva having the balls to fire Les.

Who's scared?

Why would anyone be scared? Arkansas may have a bunch of fat boys, but there's a reason those fat boys ended up at Arkansas. Because being fat isn't enough to get recruited elsewhere. Our players usually don't give a frick about this game, at least they sure didn't last year, but that one little piggy running his snout about #6 signed death warrants for the whole team. Mrs. Bielema will be pleased to know that she will be able to rest easy Saturday night. After we crush Bert into dust, he won't be subjecting her to the abject horror of getting "hopped" on any time soon.
There are several apps out there that let you delay the output of an audio source using your computer. I plug my radio into the microphone jack on my computer, use one of those free apps to delay the output, and play the sound over my speakers via Bluetooth.

It's just funny that he asked the president to admit his white privilege.

Do you think that's more or less funny than when the president send that institutionalized racism was a figment of people's imagination?

If you're referring to the first half of last year, I agree. But through the second half of 2014, our defense was incredible. Definitely beats this year.

I'm talking about comparing last year as a whole to this year as a whole. Why is everyone complaining about Steele getting a pass while simultaneously giving Chavis a big pass? If Chavis were still here, it wouldn't have helped at all against the gumps, and it might have been worse since Chavis couldn't figure out how to get pressure on the QB.

Sometime things are a little more complicated than just the final score. Last year, we possessed the ball the nearly 40 minutes of the game during regulation. The gumps for only 20. the defense let us down.

This year, those numbers were reveresed. The gumps held the ball for 40 minutes and us for only 20. It's amazing the game wasn't a worse beat down than it was.

Our defense this year has been better than last year, no question.

No, being rich does make a person effectively privileged.

Did he ever say that he hasn't experienced any "privilege" of his own? Are "privileged" people not allowed to protest racism?

Because demanding the chancellor admit his white privilege is hypocritical considering he grew up in a huge mansion.

So, being rich makes a person effectively "white"?

No mention of Jonathan Butler coming from a lot of money.

Why do you keep mentioning that as if it's relevant? He never lied about it or anything. Do you just hate rich people? Do you burn lower case letter "t"s on people's front lawns to let those richers know it's "time to leave"?

For some reason, LSU did not look prepared for a game of this magnitude on Saturday

But it's not just that we didn't look prepared. We looked like we didn't care. Every team has a bad game every now and then. It sucks that ours came in the biggest game of the season, but if we couldn't come out and play with inspiration, I don't understand why Les couldn't at least manufacture some desperation. Once again, he coached the second half as if he had accepted that we were gonna lose and he was just playing to mitigate the loss. This was the best LSU team since at least 2011 vs the most beatable gump team 2010 and our undefeated season was on the line. The loss would be easier to swallow if we had gone down by 4 scores while trying to make some offensive adjustments rather than just rolling over and accepting a 14 point arse kicking.
Q. Do the gumps have a better football program overall compared to LSU?

A. Yes, clearly.

Q. Is it so much better that it justifies 5 straight losses?

A. Absolutely not.

if someone dies, hopefully it will be Coker

When Arden Key pile drives Cameron Robinson into Coker, there will be 2 dead gumps on the field.
It's okay, Bama. I hear this guy is available to replace him.

Jesus Christ, you "anti-SJWs" spend more time whining about stupider shite than any "SJW" I've ever seen.

re: DirectTV channels out

Fox is still out for me. Thankfully I can watch the Saints on Sunday Ticket. I'll try rebooting the receiver after the game.

I've been very diapoointed with DirecTV. shite goes out even with any storm. I tried realigning it myself and having them come out and do it. My parents had directv when I was a kid, and it never went out. How did their tech get so much worse?

Still much better than Cox for sure, but I guess I'm gonna have to give UVerse a try.
It's called "sarcasm". We aren't a bunch of nut squeezers like the aggys over here. Not everything has to be a "tradition".

In their defense, this is like the dumbest joke I've ever heard.

The conference is already LSU's to lose, dumbass.
