re: This proves Auburn didn't buy Cam

I don't believe UGA is without flaws. All schools push the rules to obtain athletes & keep them eligible. But I do not believe UGA would accept an athlete with the following facts/history:
1. Academic integrity/cheating issues @ UF 3 times
2. Felony theft of a laptop
3. Circumstantial evidence of involvement/association with pay for play
Note UF did not suspend/expel him for multiple academic violations & still did not expel him for the laptop. They let him leave in good standing to protect their recruiting {i.e. you get lots of protection here} Callaway is a good example of this. A scholarship at a Div-I FBS school must mandate some basic academic & character standards (like no theft/assault/sex assault) similar to the standards expected of regular students. Otherwise the school cares more about winning & $$ than reputation & character. We all must decide where our Alma Mater should stand & make it so. I am proud of where UGA sits on that scale. Are you OK with where your school is at? And what does that say about you as a person?
IMHO, Cam did not deserve the stage he was given to develop & market his NFL career. This decision was way past the idea of giving someone a chance to change . Proper penalty would have been to make him find his way to the NFL via a smaller school ( i.e. Crowell @ Alabama St). Whether AU bought his services or not, they agreed to let him represent the character and standards of AU. This is why the Cam stain on AU will last a long time.
