re: I will say this about Brandon Harris

Harris will be the best QB in LSU history efore it's over.

Kentucky defense is, by far, the dirtiest, cheap shot defenseive team I have seen all year. Tigers better be ready. A win vs LSU will probably make them bowl eligible.
re: Isn't This a Spread Formation?

It is. What quarter was that? fourth or fifth.
re: is it bad coaching or lazy

good coaching in 1970's formations. add a stubborn coach who wants his legacy to be in the style of Bo Schenbeckler (sp) and you have our problem. The real question is when do the players lose confidence in the system/game plan. Looking back I think the players lost all confidence in the game plan in 2011 NC against bama.
re: Are we prepping to go Spread/Option in the future?

It's targeted for 2025. Even Miles said the offense is almost there.
re: What would you give to see us run a spread offense with the stars we have?

I'd give another $1400 for season tickets.

You're right on.

At least put some spreads on the O line.

"If you want to figure out the root of LSU's offensive problems you need look no further than their inability to score a TD vs. MSU with 4 cracks at it from the 2 yard line. It all starts on the OL."
Very true; however, 10/11 men in the box and the defense knowing what's coming makes it very difficult to block your assignment. If Miles wants to do that then we need our best athlete in the backfield going mid air over the pile at the line of scrimmage. We may be able to push Sam Houston's or ULL's line back but that's ain't happening against another SEC school.
Formations and play calling are putting undue pressure on the O line.

Great news. Will they be refunding any $$
re: "We are so close to where we need to be on offense"

4 more tight ends and two more fullbacks in the formation and we're there.

re: Phil Fulmerization effect starting to impact LSU
Posted by kmh5star on 10/7/14 at 3:12 pm
So we should expect to get blown out in our first 2 sec games and convert 2 of 26 3rd down conversions? Wow! I didn't know that.
re: Who believes Cam calls the offense?

One of the reasons Cam was fired from the Ravens is Harbough thought he was calling too many pass plays. You figure it out.

"I believe the OC for LSU calls the plays within the game plan agreed upon with the HC."
Bingo. And Les probably has the same play sheet from his days at Okie State.

re: What if they fire Cam?
Posted by kmh5star on 10/6/14 at 5:41 pm
I thought they fired Cam before the MS State game? That's why les has been calling the plays.
re: JUCO or transfer QB
Posted by kmh5star on 10/6/14 at 5:35 pm
No, but we're looking very hard at a JUCO D tackle who should be able to hand the ball off nicely from the I formation. He may be able to block when they put 10 men in the box. Miles figures to make it a 10 on 10 game, "And we should win", exclaimed Miles.
re: Stud Vs. Grimes..coaching differences

It's very tuff to block when the defense knows the play.
