I think he is fine. We spent a crap ton of money on our defense and they should be good. He lives and dies by his blitzes. Sometimes great. Sometimes not. But overall he has been good. He isn’t an absolute must keep. But someone to consider if next coach likes

Weston Davis in to get blown up

Very close to losing mvb and having to play a Walkon.

I mean if he can’t cover a te We can’t play him. So question may be better why is he playing.

The preseason word from every reporter was he looked bad. But nope he is the savior. No he isn’t.
They are all going to be gone. Maybe frank stays. Maybe Raymond stays. But Davis the st coach won’t be back. Who cares about them.
And he got fired. Again, you are hiring a HC and his job and why he is making as much as he does is to put together the best staff HE feels is a fit. Sure he will get recs from Ausberry or whoever, but he shouldn't be in the business of polling the fans and seeing what coaches to keep.

To think there is only 1 good DC or RB or recruiting coach in the coutnry is crazy.
I want the new coach to bring in the best. Guys act like these are the only good coaches out there. What if we can bring in someone better than Baker. If you want a top notch coach as a HC, he has to have the autonomy to hire his staff. Not be stuck with guys the fans want to keep.

If HE things Baker, peoples, raymond, etc are the best coaches then that is fine. But Saban won b/c he brought in the best coaches period. Look how may went on to be head coaches
That would be 116. 99 yards plus 10 for endzone plus 7 for hold.
I will let new coach decide if he stays or not. He doesn't NEED to stay
But not the rest of the staff. If hc isn’t fired you see it. If oc isn’t fired you see it. We fired 2 of our 11 coaches. Have 2 analysts already helping out more in rattay and brother hankton. He is gone in 3 weeks. Who cares at this point
Atkins is the only coach with oc expereince. Davis will be gone when the season is over. Usually midseason firings are coordinators and head coaches. Not sure what analyst we have on staff who could replace Davis as bad as he is. He is a placeholder. No one on staff has done anything to help him, so who cares.
New coach hires who he thinks is best bet to win. Kind of why we will pay him millions of dollars.

New coach has to have the autonomy to pick whoever he wants. There are other good dc out there and Baker has his flaws just like many do. If the new coach thinks he is the best we can get then ok keep him. He isn’t a must keep
Same, the only reason i watched was b/c of no ESPN. I enjoyed the game

so risky, could be great, could be horrible. Aaron Glenn shows the risk.

Heard someone report she was from Hammond also, I have no clue for sure.

But the report was she wanted to come back to Louisiana where family was also.

Of course with all the crap going on, this could be totally wrong also
I don’t doubt. He was added to all coaching hot boards right after initially put out. It was coordinated by his people or lsu
while wonderful, until all ADs do this it won't happen. Sure you may get lucky with it, but college football is so dependent on players that you are now risking money if your start QB gets hurt, you lose your stud CB, or have a rash of injuries that you played no part in. Coaches will take the guarantee not the risk.

More then just LSU has to do it.

i can also look at his predecessor and see that it may not work. Glenn has been thought to be pretty bad so far, his team isn't helping. Glenn has the NFL chops and more experience, but is struggling. We have to be careful with a guy who has coached for 4/5 years with 1 year of back room experience in college. He could be a stud, or fail
