re: No Home cooking for Chambliss

That isn't what is happening. He got a redshirt his first year. He is trying to say he should have gotten a Medical rs retroactively for his 2nd year. He had tonsillitis or whatever, issue is he still practiced and got beat out for the position.

If he wins, then it really opens up the idea of multiple redshirts for not winning a position. I had a cold, medical redshirt.
I remember when I had booger and Ronnie Henderson in my econ class. Didn't know either was in that class till they showed up for the final with their personal tutor who sat next to them during the test.
This does get me thinking how a International professional can be eligible, but not a US professional.
Looks good, obviously Milam is the ss. I wonder if they try to get Cooper WIlliams in a weekend role to give a left look instead of 3 righties
Practice does require backups. Depth is needed. And depth that doesn’t cost a million a player.
It’s the same lawyer from the previous case and he commented on the situation. He was hired not bc he is from Miami but bc he has experience in this situation
So we cared about berry. But let green play all game and if he got hurt oh well.
We lost a 7th early in the game. Shone Washington is playing. Hasn’t all year

I don’t think most are half assing. There is a reason Gilbert, Jimcoily, singleton and Zach weeks didn’t play a ton all year. They are either not good or not ready. It’s a mix of both.

I mean what did you expect. We have 6 starters not playing. Some of these guys playing are a year or never away from being good.
Defense
Haulcy
Delane
Perkins
Both weeks
Pyburn

Offense
Thompson
Nuss
Aaron Anderson
It has been like this for years. Only difference is Kiffin gives them a position name instead of just calling them an analyst. Which makes sense now that we can have as many on field coaches as we want.
A lot of schools have moved away from college or nothing. CCMR is the mantra now, which is college, career military readiness. I know the local high schools have automotive programs, welding, etc.
if you can get him cheaper then last year, and he is ok to a 1 year backup role to Chambliss, then ok. Probably won't take that, so he isn't a take
Yes it won't work out if we replace Frank with a high school coach
Bc the guy has been coach for 2’days and baker interviewed for a job yesterday. Probably bc they don’t know yet what they are going to do officially.
And to add, I think an analyst for Special teams is the best way to go. Now that analysts can basically do everything a true one of the 10 asst coaches can, no reason to burn a spot on a ST coach. I have heard mixed info on off campus vs. on campus recruiting. But if an analyst can't off campus recruit still that isn't a huge deal on just a kicker/punter.
We did this past year, not sure it was any better. Other then having a better punter.
Guessing we will have an analyst take care of special teams. Unless Chris Kiffin moves into the Dline or DE role and we lose both Peoples and Williams/Ogeron. If Chris Kiffin is the LBer coach with Blake Baker then we will have an extra coach from this past year on the defensive side.

The dude got fired. Most people want to redeem themselves, especially at a place he loves.
