In all serious, thanks to the folks who have actually added something to help. It looks like we will park downtown and walk. Hopefully we'll see a nice place to hit on the way back (in the Cotton District.)

Agreed! I was more curious as to whether or not they had something similar to Northgate.

How is the parking near Davis Wade?

Good places for food & drink post game?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

On another note, my wife and I are really looking forward to going to this game. Hopefully MSU fans are gracious hosts.

Is is just me or is anybody else worried that at some point this season, he will have a "freshman" type performance?

Maybe just the slow starts the last two weeks. I also think having Mathews back at center will help a ton.

Thoughts?
I am new to posting on here (longtime lurker) but I must say:

you sir, are an idiot and a piece of trash!

Your (implied) weak reference to bonfire makes me sick. :banghead:

It couldn't be the fact that we got an estimated 4-7 inches of rain Friday night and into Saturday morning. This coupled with the fact that the grass has not fully taken root yet. We had no issue the week before when we played Lamar.

I really tried to present my rankings based on what I have seen from all of the teams on the field, thus far.

1) Auburn (4)
2) Alabama (1)
3) LSU
4) Texas A&M (10)
5) Ole Miss
6) South Carolina
7) Georgia (15)
8) Mississippi State
9) Arkansas
10) Missouri
11) Florida
12) Tennessee
13) Kentucky
14) Vanderbilt
I wonder if he still has that sweet ride SMU gave him to come play foosball for dem. Definitely would be a classic now! :rotflmao:

The offense is flat out explosive. The only weakness, MAYBE, is the lack of a premiere running back, which could be an illusion at this point. Don't know

That's a great point. I really want to see if we can exhibit an explosive running game (when necessary) against the top teams in the conference; especially LSU. With how well LSU's secondary matches up with our WR's, I think that is the ONLY way we have a chance to finally get another win against y'all. That secondary coupled with the LB's are killing us.

Oh, I gotcha. Not really my thing. If other folks wanna do that, I say whatever blows your hair back!

Seriously?

This is the type of post that kept me from registering on the site years ago. I enjoy this site overall, but I like to have meaningful exchanges with folks about our respective schools & programs. I don't have time or energy for bullshite, my friend! I am who I say I am!
KareemAbdul,

Yes sir! I feel like our trio of RB's (Tra Carson, Trey Williams and Brandon Williams) are as good as any RB corps in the country.

This doesn't seem like a thread started by and Aggie

Why do you say that? Also, thanks for your post!
I've been thinking about this a bit, following the throttling of Lamar this weekend. My perceptions at this point: the good, the bad and the ugly.

The Good

1. Probably one of the best OL's in the country.
2. Very young, but deep & talented WR corps.
3. Kenny Hill is going to continue to grow as a QB.
4. Speed abound on defense.
5. Good special teams.

The Bad

1. Secondary needs to get better fast or we will still have to outscore the better teams on our schedule. Really the only consistent play has been from true freshman Armani Watts. The dude is a beast.
2. Young DL. I'm surely no genius, when it comes to football, but with all of the speed we have now, it just seems like our stud DE's often take bad angles to the QB. Please someone explain this to me. Is that the case?
3. Lack of quality depth at the LB positions.

The Ugly:

1. Senseless penalties on defense. Primarily due to youth, I think.

2. We will get torched (by Auburn,LSU, Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Missouri) if we don't get the issues corrected in the secondary.

That's about all I can think of right now. What say you?

New to tRant as a member, longtime lurker. TIA for those of you that add to this discussion and don't act like 10 year old kids, with your responses.
