Bama rolls. You have sealed your fate bringing in a usurper. LSU will never win a championship again.

Typical Louisiana people wanting a roadside tiger to show up to OWN THE LIBS. Total disgrace to anyone that actually went to LSU.

Only mouth breathing dipshit sidewalk fans think this is about PETA or THE LIBS. Who wants an off brand tiger from Florida to replace Mike?!

That’s not a thing anymore. Juggernauts roll in and win their opening game. Juggernauts beat their rivals. Juggernauts win their conference. Juggernauts make it to the CFP. Juggernauts win titles.
Do you genuinely think that LSU is in a position to do any of these things now? Next year of course though. Next Year U.

This. Right. Here.
LSU lost “it.” Especially in big moments and big games. If stakes are high now, you know LSU is going to blow it. It’s a lot like watching the Dallas Cowboys. Lots of bullshite wins but you know it’s not coming together when it matters most.
The worst part is getting the teeth kicked in at the beginning of the season. All of the joy gone. Everyone else gets to keep the dream alive at least for a few more weeks. They get to wake up in October with a cool snap in the air and think “yeah we’re still in this thing, this is college football.” LSU just shits the bed day 1 and turns the bayou boat from landing on championship island to crashing into Cheez It bowl bay.
Terrible. It’s really at a point that administration needs to look at putting a pause on things for a bit. Direct some of the money back into the school, buildings, research, etc. and then try the football thing again in a few years.

There is a lot of talk among the big money people (i.e. state legislators, senators, personal injury lawyers, etc.) that the state is looking to change Tulane to the new state university of Louisiana. It would still remain private but LSU will be changing its name to LSSU (Louisiana Secondary State University) and Tulane would retain the Tulane name but also receive primary funding from the state. This is going to be coupled with a new Saints stadium that will be announced Q1 2024 on West Bank with sky bridge. Big donors are putting up over $1bn to Tulane and Saints partnership and many are saying they will be making a run at admission to the SEC.
