don't feel bad. His music as a whole is pretty bland.

Most overrated band on this board along with Wilco
Baton Rouge - Rain This Time of Year
Posted by PurpleandGoldmember on 6/6/16 at 8:54 am
With all the rain that Baton Rouge gets this time of year, would the NCAA ever ask LSU to move our regional/super regional to a dome stadium in the future?
The Superdome seems like the logical choice. Minute Maid wouldn't be a bad option as well with the giant LSU alumni base over there.
Anybody else concerned that the NCAA may shy away from giving LSU regionals and supers in the future due to this weather?

Seems like one of the most unnecessary sequels in the history of the movie industry.

Possums are actually not native to any state in the US. They are native to Australia.
Now, opossums on the other hand, are native to the area highlighted in your picture.

Please! I am from the south and we say POSSUM! Maybe New Orleans city folks say Oppossum seeing how they sound like they are from New York City, but in the south it is possum, period!
I don't care if you are from Bogalusa, Baton Rouge, Bunkie, New Orleans, Livonia, etc...there is one correct term for this type of marsupial, and that is "opossum." If you want to keep spelling it "possum", because you are from the South, that is fine, but you will be wrong.

STAHP.
It's not about being clever. It's about being correct. Opossum is the correct term for this marsupial.
Rally Possum vs Opossum

Possums are Australian marsupials that have one of four different color variations. They look like this:
Opossums are North American marsupials with a white face and grey body. This is what the Rally Opossum is.
Therefore, LSU has a Rally Opossum, not a Rally Possum. Just want us to be correct in referring to the marsupial in its correct name.

Tom Petty is better than everyone mentioned thus far in the thread and he rocked it out.
I definitely should have given him an honorable mention. Thanks for the reminder.

I enjoy alternative rock - see my rankings. Jam bands...not really my style because I enjoy good music.
There are always a bunch of bands every year that I enjoy. I usually check out about 10-12 acts per year.

I'm sorry man, I'm not trying to be a dick, but that is an extremely shitty list. No Ween 2011? No Cheese 2012? No Paul Simon? No Wilco? What the frick.
All of those bands outside Paul Simon are terrible.

Honorable Mentions: Girl Talk 2011, Public Enemy 2013
10. Ellie Goulding - 2013 - Only knew a few of her songs going in, but she rocked out the show and put on a great performance.
9. Lenny Kravitz - 2016 - A true master of his craft. He rocked out with his band. Backup singers were entertaining and horns section was on point.
8. Foo Fighters - 2011 - Actually came out earlier in the day and played a few covers when Cee Lo Green was late. They continued their greatness with a really fun set as the headliner that night.
7. Passion Pit - 2013 - Really energetic performance. The crowd was really into it.
6. Grouplove - 2013 - Early in the day, but had a ton of energy. They were dressed up in far out outfits and rocked the stage from the start to finish.
5. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - 2013 - Karen O has an excellent voice and interacted with the crowd. They sounded sharp.
4. Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros - 2012 - They put out a great sound for having so many band members. It felt like the crowd wasn't as familiar with them, but were won over by the end of the set.
3. The Killers - 2014 - Lone 2014 performance to make the top 10. Killers are a great live band and put on an excellent show.
2. Florence and the Machine - 2016 - Had an incredible sound. Florence's voice may sound even better live. They had a great energy and their sound can't truly be appreciated unless it is heard live.
1. Red Hot Chili Peppers - 2012 - The crowd was nuts and the band nailed the performance. They were what you would expect and that is greatness.
