he said he intuitively knew the guy was also a serial killer.

I was friends with a retired BR cop back when I was at LSU. In the midst of all the Lee/Gillis/Guillory stuff he told me going back to the late 80's he figured there were 4 or 5 serial killers that were in the Baton Rouge area during that timespan. He was convinced 2 had to know each other.

ETA: I stand corrected, the hs graduation piece was removed from final language. What would a gap year look like? Who knows lol

The strict regulation of NIL and the elimination of the transfer portal.

Bingo. IMO, go to what NIL was supposed to be: if an athlete wanted to make money doing promotions, names on jersey etc no problem at all. Just eliminate all University & Booster related involvement. Agents highly regulated - agents can't recruit but athletes can reach out -and cap their cut at 2%.
Someone I'm close with has regular interaction with high level boosters at one particular SEC school. Booster fatigue at that school is very real. I really can't fathom casually dropping $500k in the pot for a WR. I could understand being frustrated that said WR is riding the bench, nearly flunking out but riding around town in a leased lambo. Only so many times guys like that are gonna keep ponying up.
Sark just hungover from too many nights at certain Austin bars.

But unless you can absolutely get on the field as a freshman, there won't be a point for a lot of these guys to go to 4 year schools. Anyone that isn't an instant contributor would be better off going to JUCO and keeping their options open.

JUCO is gonna be the smart move for alot of athletes in different sports. If they play their cards right, they will be better off in the long run than jumping right into the meat grinder considering you get 1 transfer after that.
Flo wrestling deleted the match. Can't find it anywhere. On the bout summary it didn't look like anything officially happened to instigate the head shove or punch.
It's the context that matters here. On the streets or a bar, yeah, we can call FAFO all day. This was the NHSCA Duals - an incredibly important offseason tournament with college coaches everywhere. The refs gave the head shover an unsportsmanlike and a team point was deducted (in wrestling a single point is huge at a dual). The kid that punched was given a flagrant & kicked out of the tournament. Heck, he may not be able to wrestle another NHSCA tournament or offseason tournament.

Forrest is an absolute prodigy. At such a young age, though, thats a lot of pressure to maintain.

Ferrari brothers bailing out on their teams. Brands brothers must have lost their minds.
"Stall to win" definitely gets a bit out of hand.
Forrest is looking more like a generational talent every day.
Freestyle wrestling is fun to watch.
