I hope all these Ags are putting their money where their mouth is, as Texas hired a guy with about 20 years of SEC $tyle recruiting experience. The Ags are no longer recruiting SEC $tyle against Mack Brown. They are recruiting against a former SEC coordinator that know$ the game $o well that a ba$ketball $chool in Kentucky had ton$ of Florida talent. Texa$ didn't just upgrade coaching they brought in someone well $chooled in SEC $tyle recruiting.

Are A&M'$ pocket$ deeper than Texa$'?

'm assuming "we" is referring to LSU? The biggest reason y'all halted the series is y'all got tired of starting off every damn year with an OOC loss to TAMU

You Aggies tell yourselves whatever you want but the series was 16-9-1 in our favor since it was played every year beginning in 1960. It was discontinued because of your NCAA sanctions and TV ban. Isn't the A&M TV ban why the A&M v UT game was moved from Thanksgiving Day in the early 90s?
Aggies lost the annual game with us from all the NCAA sanctions during the period they keep referring to as their glory years. 7 Years of NCAA sanctions, lack of institutional control in '88 and '94, 2 years of bowl bans, and a year of TV ban from the NCAA violations A&M committed between 1983-1992( LINK / ) is why we stopped the series. Those violations earned A&M the title of 3rd dirtiest program of all time title and combined with SMU's death penalty killed the SWC.

So how many commit flips does Strong need to get this year to impress you?

If Les let it being known in the first week of December he wasn't returning and our AD didn't replace him until 4-5 weeks later how many recruit do you think would be flipped from us? Strong only losing 2 in that scenario is impressive to me.

There was more time between Mack's departure announcement and the new hire than between the new hire announcement and LOI day.
So in this thread the Ags don't want to count Sumlin's first recruiting class since he was only hired in December but do want to count Strong's first recruiting class even though he wasn't hired until January.

The Ags won't acknowledge the 2(?)flips committed to Mack and not Strong. Nor that only two flips with HC and staff change is impressively low.

You'd think the Ags would have learned last year when they dropped from 1st to 5th in recruiting over the last few weeks that LOI day is what counts not 10 months before hand.

Ags want to harp on the ranking of who they lost to and probably don't realized that they didn't beat a single SEC team with a winning conference record. As matter of fact the only 3 DI teams, with a winning record for the whole season, they beat were; Rice, Duke, and Ole Miss.
