Thank you - to answer one of your responses - I accepted Christ many years ago and walk in His truth. Thanks for that positive advice -
This is all early stage and I don't understand the underlying issues right now - I will update as I learn more.

Since I can't sleep, thanks to all.
I am 47 and really quite healthy otherwise.
They are talking surgery and chemotherapy. Emory was suggested because it is close to us (I live in upstate SC). This is strange because I had my yearly physical and for the first time had the dreaded prostate exam - nothing abnormal at the time.
I will say the doctors are moving fast with this whole thing. I have an appointment with the oncology specialists to tomorrow (I guess today). This group is pretty well respected here so we are optimistic. My significant other has spent a majority of her day reassuring me and researching the issue - I guess she is as scared as me right now.
Depending on the doctors reaction today surgery may be scheduled as early as next week - we will see
Anyway - thanks to all for the kind words and encouragement. It may seem strange to reach out to a group of people you do not know, but there are thousands here and I knew seine had something to offer - amitch

Persistent gastric pain and issues in the bathroom - went for an exam, colonoscopy and boom.
For all the mess I see on these boards I really appreciate the responses and encouragement.
Ps looking at Emory University

Have been informed I have colon cancer and must begin treatment immediately including surgery.
I am pretty numb and, well, scared. Has anyone else been through this and maybe offer advice? Thanks - amitch

Of course Dabo would never leave Clemson for Bama, why would he? The beautiful lakes, the nearby mountain ranges, the nationally known brand - what could Bama ever offer him?
Right Jamie, right? Silly inbred tater

Imagine a pizza party for 80,000 if Clemson is #1 on 12/6/15

Clemson has two voters on the committee - let's see where you are on 12/6/15. If you're lucky you can win out and take part in the Death Valley pizza party Dabo has promised

This guy isn't trolling, trust me. EVERY Clemson fan thinks the exact same way as him. He is regurgitating the party line. Don't try to present facts or reasonable discussion with such a beast. Truth be told any attempt at rational discussion with he or any other Clemson fan is like pissing against the wind - just let it go

Why do you guys feel the need to humor this guy? A grown man (I guess) who uses lol every other scentence needs to be strictly ignored.

I believe the 70's and 80's are the golden era of college football. Keith Jennings "whoa Nellie", ap national champions, blue chip recruits (no star system), listening to the games on the radio since only one maybe two games per week were televised. Maybe I'm just getting old

Not at all - been around Carolina football all my life. Class of '90 - sat through 0-21. Has nothing to do with Gamecovk football BUT the college football atmosphere as a whole.
I do appreciate those who at least tried to discuss -
