Tony Eason referred to Florida's coaches as offense guys and said Chaney reminded him of an old high school coach

Just to clarify, Tony Eason actually said that Chaney reminded him of HIS old high school coach and his coaches son. Not "an old high school coah. Also said that he thought they were of similar coaching trees and that he liked that about him. Sounds like a good thing to me. Eason is definitely going to be playing with the good guys next year. I still thing the offense will be a work in progress next year, but the future is bright.

My friend swears that both ADGM and PJM hate Pruitt and will not let him be apart of Kirby's staff. Said a lot of it has to do with him being a quote on quote A hole. They really did not like how he spoke out about building the IPF. I know that he left Tuscaloosa on not the greatest of terms and that there were some questionable things surrounding his departure from FSU, but has he really been that bad. So maybe he's burning a few bridges, but he's very popular with the players and his results don't lie. With so much hanging on these hires for ADGM, I would think he would want to keep him.

Based on your solid insider info?

Ha no man, the only "insider info" I have is a bunch of drunk old guys who probably don't really know anything. I just thought from the rivals article sounded, what was said on here before, and the whole timing of the announcement that he was more than likely gone. Plus yall know how we've been "closing" of late.
So does this start the perennial exodus of recruits that we thought we were going to get? Mecole is almost certainly gone as well. I feel like this happens year.

Im rolling into town from Alabama. I need to get this W to make work bearable with all these gumps.
I think that Mauger is somebody who's been great but doesn't get much mention. Parrish is another one in the secondary who's been playing pretty well IMO.

Whoever was asking about Abram starting at safety, I'm pretty sure he started at star because Rico's knee is banged up. I thought he did a good job as well.

Had a great time back in Athens this weekend, but I was curious to know what those who went back thought about the tailgating scene. I didnt graduate too long ago, but I just remember the scene being more "crowded" for lack of a better word. In some areas, it seemed almost subdued. In particularly in North Campus. I know there have been some rule changes, but I'd hate for our GameDay scene to fizzle out. Where are the areas that the big tailgates are nowadays?
I think the playing calling was pretty conservative, but Lambert certainly isn't instilling confidence in the casual observer with how he's carrying out these plays. I agree that there was a few drops, but there were more just flat out bad throws. Mainly in the first half and the beginning of the second. The other problem is the batted balls at the line. This guy is too tall for that. Hopefully he starts looking like what he does in practice come gameday, because right now he would likely struggle against many of the teams remaining on our schedule.
I love my DAWGS, and I agree with the fact that we overall fall in line with how we rank in recruiting each year. But I can't really say that we haven't underachieved in at crucial times in the last decade. I feel like 2007 was a year we should have won a MNC. Two just bad games against SC and UT kept us out of being in the title game and effectively ended colt brennan's career as a football player. As well as the ESPN interviews of the coaches, but we won't get into that. Everybody knows about 2012. I'd also include 2005. I'm not complaining about an SEC championship, but a flat game against UF followed up by a ridiculous end of game loss against the barn really hurt our chances to achieve more. To make it even sweeter, we got handled in the Sugar Bowl. Lastly I'd say 2008. Anytime you start out as #1 and your ranking goes down despite winning games, I have to say thats an underachievement. The difference between us and these other SEC teams that we've taken down head to head as of late, is that they are capitalizing when they have these little windows unlike us. I'm not downing our boys, I'm just merely stating my observations.

Question about Chatman from Miami. He never turned in a LOI to anybody. Are we in play at all with him? I know he came up late mid week and had a good time at the Steg.
Did the WR Chatman ever turn his LOI in to Miami or is he still out there?
Yea, I'm a dedicated lurker  I feel like you guys know more than I can contribute. The rant provides a great info and frequent entertainment though.
@Crowknows basically that he really likes UGA and would commit if offered. Article makes it sound like he doesn't yet have a committable offer
