I hated it before it was cool. I drank a ton of it in high school/college then at some point I just couldn't stand it anymore. Miller Lite is far superior.

I mostly just drink Shiner or Canebrake nowadays.
I never got the reminder. Did the renewal online and had the new stickers in a few days.
Good. Growing up in the 80s/90s everything smelled like smoke everywhere. Banning smoking from indoor places is one of the best strides we've made as a society.

My grandma was the best woman in the world and battled Alzheimer's. Absolutely terrible disease. I'm glad you got that moment. God bless you both!

It was bad before Katrina. Big K just worsened it.

And yet a majority of the players in MLB are from poor Hispanic countries. Obviously the travel ball thing ain’t working that great.

I coached my kid's T-ball team one year, and they had Coach Robichaux (RIP) from UL come talk to us during orientation. He talked about travel ball and how in Latin America they stick to the principle of practice often and have few games while travel ball is game after game with few practices and they aren't practicing out the bad habits and it's ruining players. It was a pretty interesting talk. He passed away not long after unfortunately.
Baw go offer that old lady some dick. She has a right to feel the thunder. Take one for the team and make all of ya'll lives better.

yeah - I think we started with SunCom and then Cingular

But SunCom was more than 20 years ago

You're right, it was SunCom!

We're the old people now.
The system rewards capital and would prefer you not be poor. Poors and government drag the system down.

Same, I've had the same account since I switched from Radiofone to Cingular.

About 15 years ago our homeowners voted to turn the HOA over to a HOA management company.

That's where the real hustle is. When I was getting on to the board, as a 200 house neighborhood, collecting $300 per house per year, so our yearly income was about $60k. The original management company that the developer had signed a contract with was getting $30k of that. That left the association with $30k IF everyone paid, which never happens. We replaced them as soon as the contract was up with a way cheaper company, but it's still a chunk of change for not doing a whole lot.

What ends up happening is the egregious non payers (over $1k) would get liens and the association collects when they sell. We were able to do a few nice projects that way.

I've experienced it from the homeowner and the board member side. As a homeowner I thought it was all pretty dumb (still kinda do) but I keep my house and yard up so I never really had any dealings with them.

I decided to run for the board at our annual meeting and won a seat. Holy shite. I'd break it down to about 5% Karens, 5% trashy people that would let their place look like a dump if you let them, 10% "govern me harder daddy" people, 10% "this is bullshite I own this property" but no one was talking about them people, 40% just go with the flow people, 10% zero participation but pay their dues people, and 20% always in some sort of arrears people. I got re-elected a couple times then took my name out of the hat.

I have the 35L, can confirm it fits fine under plane seats. Has a laptop slot and a tablet slot, or two laptop slots if you prefer. Had a pocket that fits a Yeti bottle perfect and has a lot of built in organization pockets. Actually comfortable to wear. When I first saw the straps I was underwhelmed but they actually work well. I fly every couple weeks for work and I've been using it for about 6 months.

Let your inner baw out!

For real though I have one as my travel bag and it's great.
I like the quicksilver shorts from Costco for like $12
