Was hoping this would pass, but had zero faith in the state to get it done. Par for the course.

I love when career waitstaff post this on the socials then cry two weeks later when the restaurant they work at shuts down and launch into a tirade about people eating at chili’s and not supporting local and not because the restaurant sucked.

This team whole arse assisted the clergy in covering up diddling kids and this is the hill they picked to die on?

To be fair, Asians were doing it before Covid.

I’m good with banks. I’m just glad we didn’t waste #9 on Sanders or Dart.

It's the Good Lord trying to wash out some of the patchouli ahead of time.

Stine is in Broussard, we can't claim it unfortunately. And now Maurice has a brand new NuNu's.

Am I missing something about Youngsville? I’ve been through there several times & it just appears to be a bunch of nice hoods surrounded by sugar cane, super congested roads & a nice sports complex. So just….sprawl?
It's definitely not a bad place, just blowing up super fast and not the sleepy cane field town it used to be. I'd still rank it near the top of places to live in this state, but it's getting full.

For real. How does one not go to Walmart and not expect to encounter a high level of trashiness. There's a reason we pay to shop at Costco. If you don't want to smell garbage, don't hang out at landfills.

Hard to say. They just announced a 1600 home development by the sports complex, and Sugar Mill Pond is building out all the way to Savoy. It's odd I guess in that no one that lives here works here so it's pretty empty during weekdays. Restaurants can't make it without a lunch crowd, so it's kind of a revolving door. No real business has moved in other than bars/restaurants and boutique stores.

I don't think they ever typically charge for them. You can also do the course online as well. LINK
I was born before the cut off date but I still took the online course a few years back. It's a lot of information, highly recommend it.

Youngsville is the only one of these that is actually in South Louisiana.
And it's full. Development has outpaced infrastructure here.

I think those have been gone for awhile. They went to a small turbo 4 cylinder, 1.5L or something like that.
