Make a minor league system for NFL and NBA. I get that NBA has the G-league, but it's a joke. Maybe I just don't follow it as closely, but baseball doesn't seem to have the crazy transfer problem. Sure you have some swapping for money and of course kids going to bigger schools for more exposure, but the sport seems to be doing just fine.
Let NFL teams draft and pay directly out of high school. If you want to set a rule you can't play in the NFL until 20 for "player safety," then fine, but these baws are playing against grown arse men in college anyway as freshmen. Every team gets their own minor league team for development. Set up a rule similar to baseball's rule 5 draft where after 3 or 4 years any team can make a claim so you can't just stockpile talent forever. College sports has basically turned into the minor leagues anyway, so let's let them stop pretending to play school and get paid.
Yeah, college football will have a quality drop-off. But you'll get to see kids who actually want to be there or are playing for a shot to prove they can go professional, rather than the ones waiting their 3 years and are only at school because they have to be and because their current campus was the highest bidder.
You can do it for the WNBA too I guess but let's be honest those ladies will get paid more in 4 years or college than their entire pro career.
Sounds worth it. Where do you go if in Baton Rouge?
So wait, you're telling me that if you don't eat, sleep or take care of yourself, or you get yourself really stressed out you can get sick from it?!?!?!? Yeah you should probably look into stem cells and chemo for that.

At this rate if he keeps it up, all it may take is another "moderate" Democrat like Edwards

Isn't between Seattle and Toronto basically all of Canada?
I see the note but it seems like Hawaii was much higher than 4.5% the few times I've visited.

frick as a 12 year old I would have known to do that.

At 5'9 and 70 pounds it's amazing he even had the strength to lift and eat those sandwiches, let alone think about kicking a wall out.
When I fly solo I agree with you, there are much better options that I can get by with. But for family travel for the 3 of us they have been the best option nearly every flight we've booked. I generally don't check a bag unless we are gone 5+ days. But I do like to sit together, which is great with family boarding. I don't care if it's the back, the front, the exit, or wherever, doesn't mean much to me. But you want that on another airline? That's a fee. Want a carry on? That's a fee. X3 it adds up. Headed to Disney? Gonna need to check at least one bag. That's a fee. For those of us filthy casuals and infrequent flyers without status and with little ones, the old Southwest policies, while outdated and I can admit aggravating for alot of others, were nice to take a little of the stress out of travel. When I booked my ticket, I knew I wasn't getting a luxury experience, but I also knew I wasn't going to be surprised at the airport with baggage fees and I'd get to sit with my family. With those factors in mind, Southwest consistently saved me at least $100 per ticket. Time will tell how this will affect future pricing.
Reciting the pledge of allegiance before the State of the Union Address would be a nice little add on that he could make his own. "Alright folks before I get started here tonight let's have a quick reminder of what we are all here for."

re: LSU section Texas bowl.

Does anyone know if the usual NRG Club Levels will be the same for the Texas Bowl? It looks like club level is usually the 300s on the sidelines but on stubhub and ticketmaster they aren't showing it as a perk for those sections. Maybe I'm looking in all the wrong spots, but I can't find a single website that states it clearly.
