re: 3 Body Problem - Netflix

Just finished it. I also read the trilogy so I was scared that this wouldnt live up to the books. I thought they did a really good job. Yes, they westernized the characters but I don't have any issue with that. Show and Book Spoilers: 1) The nanofiber attack on the boat was cool as frick. I h...

iSi Cream Chargers in baton rouge?

Does anyone know a place locally here in Baton Rouge that sells N20 chargers for the iSi? TIA...
I also loved the Wax and Wayne books but honestly I liked the first trilogy better.
100% on the same page with you. It's more of a setting preference for me. I'm more into the medieval type setting rather than a Western setting. I don't think I'll be into the next Mistborn act that m...
Ekeler - I could see him going in the late 2nd/early 3rd next year. Similar to where Breece Hall was projected this year Kupp - I think late 2nd would be appropriate Kelce - Early 2nd Mahomes - Early 3rd. With the emergence of Stroud and Richardson as viable QB options with high upside, could pus...

I watched this movie last night. It was one of the most original movies I think I've ever seen. Very funny yet dark at times. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. Highly recommend yall checking this out...

That's my favorite restaurant in BR for anniversaries and birthdays. Make sure you get a pasta dish for your main and don't be tempted with the seafood or steak specials. Get the Putanesca. Even if they dont have it on the menu, ask for it and they should be able to make it for you. Gotta get the gn...

re: Unclogging a Pit Boss Auger suggestions

Posted by txbd on 11/3/23 at 11:26 am
Can you see the auger turn or is it just the motor you hear running? I had the same thing happen on my traeger and the screw that held together the auger to the auger motor had snapped in half. Once I replaced that and got all the pellet residue out of the auger it was working fine....

re: Higgins or Sutton this week? 1 PPR

It's hard to sit Sutton with how solid he's been this year. I'm starting him over Garret Wilson for instance. I would take Sutton over Higgins as well....

re: Best Burger in Baton Rouge?

The best burger in BR is at Ruth's Chris for their lunch special. $15 gets you a ceasar salad, ground ribeye burger with bacon on a pretzel bun, and a side....

I'll be there as well this weekend. We love going to the River Shack, partly because we can take the boat there but it's got some really good food. I have heard excellent things about Osman's as well if you want Italian....
Yes, I love it. I admit, it doesnt get as much use as my Traeger but I still use it all the time. Made a bunch of smashburgers this weekend for our fantasy draft. I recommend getting the largest one you have, as surface area can easily get overwhelmed, especially when doing something like smash burg...

re: Question for survivor fans

Posted by txbd on 8/28/23 at 1:45 pm
American Survivor is so soft these days and the casts have been abysmal. They are focused too much on diversity now. If you want to watch Survivor, watch Australian Survivor. I believe they go for 50 days in much harsher conditions. The casts are a lot better because they are mostly very hot girls ...
