It really is like crack. I just finished the last book. Decided to listen to them all over but on the Sound Theater app. The app itself kinda sucks but holy crap the quality of the audio is just on another level, as if that was even possible. I'm having a blast.

I was riding with my SO over the weekend and had it on. She typically tunes my audiobooks out but a part came on with Princess Donut singing in autotune about reattaching a penis and she was like WTF IS GOING ON
I thought the OFs were trash at Harbor Docks last time I went. Food was great and well priced though.

I've had some of the best steaks of my life at that Little Village. So try the steak.

Mango's Volleyball on Sherwood has a double smash burger and I legit think it's the best burger in BR right now. I get it every Thursday night after I play. Incredible lacing on the sides. I'll take a pic next time and post it.

A bit pricey but I buy them when I see them. They are a bit on the sweeter side, which I like. The best part about them is how easy they are to peel. Your hands don't get all sticky peeling these like you do with most oranges.

I started Dungeon Crawler Carl about 2 weeks ago and just started book 3 last night. Doing the audible version. Holy shite - what a fun ride. The epilogue of book 2 really pissed me off regarding the celestial boxes lol.

On your recommendation, I watched Episode #1 and it was definitely entertaining. Maybe it’s because each team had a “villain” (Nash and Ken) who ramped up the gameplay from Day 1. They obviously don’t work under the same DEI rules that CBS forces Survivor USA to follow but still had a nice mix of contestants. The host seemed like he was impersonating Jeff and repeated some of the same lines Jeff uses; I guess he’s iconic to Survivor AU fans.

Everything you said is pretty spot on. The casting in AU is way superior as they did not go the DEI route. Every season seems to have some pro athletes and models as castaways.

As for the host, yes he definitely took some lines from Jeff. All of the Survivor offshoot hosts seem to do that (probably all owned by the same parent company). But JLP is way more savage than Jeff which I like.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this so I'm putting it back in this thread. The Australian Survivor season just finished and HOLY shite what a season. It's remarkable how much better every facet of Australian Survivor is over OG Survivor. The cast, the challenges, the strategy - all light years ahead.

I highly recommend that you start getting into it and watching it because the next season is going to be bananas. It will be Australia vs the World and they have some big names on it like David (who won Aus Survivor and recently Deal or No Deal Island) and Tony. Hopefully they have the winner of Brans vs Brawns 2 that just finished because he/she may be my favorite survivor ever. Don't want to spoil anything.

You can watch the latest season here on Youtube. Hurry up and watch it before they take it down.
I went Wednesday night and had a phenomenal experience. 10/10 would recommend and is firmly in my top 5 of BR restuarants.

Got the tuna tosterones for the app
My girl got the paella for entree and I got the 3 tacos (sweet potato, steak, and fried oysters. and yes the sweet potato was fire)
We got the banana brulee for desert

For drinks - they had a spicy blueberry margarita as a special that day so got those and holy shite - what a drink. We both put down 3 of them and were honestly kind of hammered at the end of our dinner. It wasn't too sweet like almost every blueberry drink I've ever gotten has been.

Food - 9/10
Atmosphere - 8.5/10
Service - 9/10 - was shocked how good it was for a new restaurant
Drinks - 11/10 (also got their regular spicy cucumber marg which was amazing)
Overall - 9/10

Request: Spoiler tag feature

Posted by txbd on 4/3/25 at 1:36 pm
I think it would be a great idea to have spoiler tags on this forum, which is constantly needed in the Movie/TV Board and the Book Board.

Here is an example

For the end user who is posting, it would behave just like quoting where you highlight the text you want to quote and click the quote button. For this, you would highlight the text you want to hide for spoilers and click the spoiler button.

For the end user who is reading the posts, they would see a clickable block that says Spoiler. Once clicked on, it would reveal the text that was previously hidden.

FYI I know we've talked about Australian Survivor on here before but nobody knows how to watch it. I have access to an invite only stream site that has it but they were missing the latest episode so I went and found somewhere else to watch it.

This youtube playlist seems to have a ton of the seasons if anyone is interested in watching some Australian survivor. Go ahead and get your fill before they take it down: Australian Survivor seasons

The Brain vs Brawn season is the ongoing season happening right now. They release 3 episodes a week which is awesome. Very good cast as usual for Australian Survivor with a good amount of tasty babes - especially Morgan :pimp:
Maybe not the most brutal but it hit me the hardest

I would do that in a heartbeat
