00 buckshot is actually a terrible idea for home defense. Use #4 buckshot if you’re dead set on a shotgun. An AR15 with red dot wml and self defense rounds will serve you way better if you got other people in the house.

Check ammoseek, you can filter it for manufacturer or bullet style and it even rates the websites shipping costs.
