Add to this list...And I am not saying LSU will or should hire them just names that have had some level of success at places that could end up elsewhere

Sonny Dykes at TCU (also SMU and Tech but failed at Cal)
Tyson Helton at WKU
Clay Helton at Georgia Southern (and USC among others)
Bert - Illinois (Wisconsin but failed at Arkansas)
Jeff Traylor - UTSA (Texas High school coaching royalty)
Joey McGuire - Texas Tech (Texas High School coaching royalty) High NIL
Charlie Huff - Southern Miss (Marshall and Alabama assistant under Saban)

Nuss is getting 150k per game per NIL so they cannot bench him
LSU should approach this differently than just 4 years at 20 million or whatever the number was that has been reported. We should try to structure some things differently to make him where he cannot so no.

3-5 year deal - Give him $1 more than highest paid coach and he has a clause that it always moves to that number annually

Buy his old house on Highland and have it waiting for him

Give him structured significant bonuses annually based on level of success. Not just BS like go to a bowl and get 500k. Like 2.5 million for each win in playoffs. Another 5 for winning championship

Then offer him an annuity for life. 1 million a year for taking the job, for life. Increased it to 2.5 mil a year, for life for winning a NC.

25 mil for NIL per year.

whatever is needed for Assistant salaries.

Make the investment. Give him total autonomy and if he wants to name his successor then let him do that as well.

He alone will highly increase all funds for the University. Go read the Forbes magazine article on what he meant to Alabama ten years ago or so. It will pay for itself in spades.

Remember when everyone thought it was crazy that Tom Brady would go play for Tampa at then end of his career. He would be tainting his legacy, and all that. Well he not only cemented his legacy as the greatest QB ever but he also tore down Belichick's some by proving it was Brady that was responsible for the winning more so than Bill.

Now put that in the terms of Bama whining that he is too old, then LSU winning one more, then Saban himself being shown that it was never Bama, it was just him.

Baseball Fall scrimmage dates?

Posted by Trailer Trash on 9/25/25 at 9:00 am
Has baseball posted any of the intersquad scrimmage dates yet?
Exhaust manifold blew out...probably around 100k miles. Probably took out something else with it. Will have to replace and you will need to go ahead and delete the DEF for the engine. Ultimately it will then run like a diesel and you will get much more power and better mpg.

Mine blew on the interstate pulling my camper. Not cool.

Look in the middle of your hood underneath and you will see where all the soot got blown. When mine went it almost blew a hole on the hood
If you aint got no Polo you go home solo

Stump Grinding cost?

Have 4-6 large stumps that need to be ground. What is a good estimate on cost per stump?

Have you tried vet tape? Also, he may want to try the omnipod on his thigh under some compression shorts.

No we will look into the vet tape. Going to order a diaband and try that Will look into the vet tape - thanks for that. He is so lean that they did not think the thigh would work as there is minimal if any fat there but may try it for three days just to see what we get.
Sorry man i missed this thread.

My son is T1D Diagnosed at 15 months. He is 16 now and we did shots until about 3 weeks ago when he got on the omnipod. Started the dexcom was about 7 years ago and was a lifechanger for us as it really helped without having to do the constant checks. His symptoms when diagnosed were very similar to yours. The multiple daily injections will work for you but once you learn the process i would recommend a pump. we should have done it years ago. His Blood sugar is so much more consistent than it has ever been.

I will say that he finds the omnipod a little heavy and when he is doing activities it hurts some. we are out of season right now but he is trying to find a sleeve to put over it when he is doing conditioning or throwing or batting to make it not feel like gravity is bending the needle in his arm so may want to try one on before you begin the pump process completely and do your activities to make sure its a good fit for lifestyle.

There are a bunch of the guys who gave you great information so far....obviously keep reaching out we will all help you with everything we have learned.

Update

We are wrapping up his third pump as they last three days at a time. Blood Sugar numbers are unbelievably more consistent. We have had two big spikes, and corrections of those take awhile to come back down but both were from mistakes we made. It is hard to trust what it tells you to dose nut we are listening more and more. When it is working as described he has never had numbers remotely close to this.

No negatives with this in any way for normal life.

Concerns we have to figure out are once sports start again is how is he going to get his blood sugar numbers consistently while on field during practice. Before he kept the dexcom receiver but that is out now with it talking to the omnnipod. Will have to figure this one out. The other is the pod is a little heavier than he expected and it feels like it pulls and wants to fly off when he is doing just basic weights and things so may need a compression sleeve or ace bandage over it once he starts back up on his pitching/throwing program and batting. We are on a little hiatus with summer ball being over and trying to learn how to mange numbers using this thing.

1) Jump rope...start doing 3-4 sets of 50...this strengthens all the connective tendons and tissues

2) Wear Cowboy Boots as often as you can...this holds everything in place to take pressure off the inflamed area.

This fixed mine twice. Once in 40's and second time in early 50s. Will be better before you realize it is better

Rolling a tennis ball, frozen water bottle, stretches...none of that worked for me at all. never did shots or anything of that nature.
Any news on Justin Lebron from bama entering?

What was Devin Fontenot rated when he came back his Sr Year (Jay's first team)

Seems like that was big deal when he stayed in school

They squeezed him big time. He threw fine
We have had hitch pull and we have fifth wheel now. The towable was 28 foot and easier to park but pulling it on the interstate sucked because it feels like the 18 wheelers suck it towards them while pulling. The 5th wheel pulls smoothly but is 34 foot and we camp primarily in Cades Cove and there are only about 4 sites in there i can get into.

we take a couple long trips a year to the mountains of Tennessee from Louisiana every year. Use it also for kids baseball stuff when its out of town. We used to do shorter weekend trips but baseball has cut into that. if kids were out the house we would go more often.

We probably spend 30-45 nights a year in it. We have owned campers for about 12 years.

I have an active 13 year old t1d (baseball, basketball and football) . He’s done well with the Omni pod.

How long did it take to learn how to handle it during games and practice? we always try to limit any short acting insulin as much as possible on game and practice days within 3 hours of activity. Also usually do a 15 carb snack or so right before walking on field and that usually handles it except when he's pitching and then he has a 15ish carb drink that he drinks during game also. I assume you are going to activity mode or just shutting off completely during that time period? A lot to re-learn

Omnipod his first year so we never experienced any pumps with tubes.

So we just finished our endo appointment and have ordered the Omnipod like you said your son did. Going to wrap up summer baseball and then start the training mid July. Trying to hoard up as many pods as we can get to have as a stash in case these things fall off or we screw them up. Going to be an entirely new deal to learn but he needs more independence. Do not want to try to learn this thing and the adjustments while on the baseball field, too much chance for a bad low if we get into a situation we dont know how to handle
