it's happened to me the last three days as well. Has anyone else been getting a tigerdroppings survey request? I have been getting this for the last three days as well.

Get a home warranty and keep it as long as you live there. Have seen it pay for itself many times with some of my friends.

No, the dumbest city council and mayors are in Shreveport. Memphis is probably a distant 2nd in that category.

re: who else here suffers from panic attacks

First and foremost, acknowledge it for what it is. Do not do as I did and deny that stress can make you feel as if you are dying. I spent several years denying it was stress and continued the attacks while I searched for a physical cause rather than admitting it was mental. Alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine all have an effect on panic attacks. Over indulge and it will cause or lead to an attack. Some have advised to take drugs to combat the causes of a panic attack. Antidepressants are not for everyone. They had the opposite effect on me. Many bad thoughts while on them. I quit taking them, learned I wasn't superman and stress effected me. Once I accepted this I learned how to mentally train myself when I felt an attack coming on. I literally told myself, "quit being a pussy, this is in your mind". Haven't had a serious panic attack since I learned this. Yes, I can still feel them trying to come on but an prevent it.

Didn't mean to sound like it was too much trouble to help you out. what I said about the amount to add will be close. What you add will depend on how big your pool is. I have lots of tips on pool care. Can't tell you how much I had to learn on my own and how pissed I am with the local pool store experts that I have went to asking for help with my algae problem.

I'm sitting on the couch having a beer and don't feel like walking to the garage to read the directions on the bottle. If my memory serves me correctly you need to add about 12 oz's or so for starting up the pool. After you get the pool started up you add 2 oz's a week. You steel have to shock the pool etc... along with normal chemicals. But I can tell you once I learned of the need to add phosphate remover to my pool I went from spending a $1500 a year on my pool to probable $200.

is it a chlorine pool or salt? Mine is a chlorine pool and I fought algae for years on one end thinking it was circulation. Took my water in for testing to the dealer and other local pool dealers and no one could figure out the problem. I fought this problem for 5 years and learned goggle is my friend. You need to buy yourself some phosphate remover. Phosphate is what algae feeds on.

The boyfriend is in jail and both of his brothers? That's a family of criminals. You really need to keep an eye on him if you stay involved in this girl's life. You're underestimating what he could be capable.

Thanks for everyone's answers. It's been a lot of help.

I was looking at the 2" mesh. I would think this is small enough to keep them from sticking their heads through the fence. Am I correct?

That's what I'm thinking so I don't see the need to add an additional cost of $500 to $600 dollars to the project to use these steel panels versus welded wiring.

Problem with women is they think it's cute until they have to deal with the army of goats.
Need the OB's help with pigmy goat pen building.

I am building a pen that is roughly 800 sq ft for 2 pigmy goats. Do I need to use the goat panel fencing made of steel or would the Home Depot welded 14ga wire fencing suffice?

ok, we are all going to hell for laughing at the video but there has to be a special place in hell for the guy that has a strategy for playing the blind kid.
re: GSP question for the OB.

Yes she is on puppy chow. She is on Nature's Recipe Lamb & Rice. She had a very active day today and ate much better. I appreciate everyone's help and my next question would be what kind of training should I give her?
Unfortunately she is my daughter's dog and will be a pet. My daughter understands the pup is a very active breed and will need exercise. She is an avid runner and will take the pup running. She also wants to train the pup to enjoy the water. Any suggestions? I have never owned a bird dog or have any experience with them. I have always been a hunter that uses Walker hounds and Beagles. I have no idea how to train this pup to retrieve something from the water.

Sorry for the late response.
She has been wormed and is up to date on shots. She did much better today with eating. I might add we bought her from a breeder in Missouri and she was sedated for the flight into Shreveport last Tuesday. I am still wondering, would you guys recommend feeding 3 times a day with 1/3 a cup or continue with a 1/2 cup 2 times a day.

GSP question for the OB.
Posted by iamalter on 5/25/14 at 10:54 am
My child just got a 9 week old GSP pup. It weighs 11 lbs. Child is a little concerned because this is below the avg weight of 18 lbs. She (the pup) is 12" at the shoulder. Is this anything to be concerned about? We are feeding the pup 1/2 cup in the morning and evening. She doesn't always eat the entire amount. Should we decrease the amount of feed to 1/3 of a cup and feed 3 times a day to help increase weight? Any help from the OB would be appreciated.
re: OT doctors- How serious is a Brown Recluse update Pg-5 Spider Bite?
Posted by iamalter on 5/14/14 at 6:18 pm
I've been bitten by one. They will know because a ring of inflammation will grow around the bite.It will be red and swollen and tender to the touch. The center will die. I had a nice chunk of meat cut out my leg to get rid of the dead tissue.
re: Southern Hills Neighborhood Shreveport

To me, Southern Hills, is the area between Bert Kouns, Kingston Road, Mansfield Road and Crab Apple. It's not a terrible area but wouldn't be my first choice. Have you looked at the Shreve Island area?
