re: Getting into the Hooping Spirit.

I can follow more than one sport. I just think people should have a little bit of a window to hang up the football gear and break out the basketball jerseys.
Getting into the Hooping Spirit.

Does anyone else hate it when sports overlap? I want to enjoy both SEC hoops and SEC football but I just can't get into the hooping spirit until after January. Any tips?

They have a chance to lose to Auburn this season who is currently on a strong win streak and will be fired up. I don't think they will lose to Mizzou in the SEC Championship if they beat Auburn The 2014 season will all be determined whether or not Saban goes to Texas. If he does the key games will be Florida, at Ole Miss, at Tennessee, at LSU, and Auburn. If he stays then the top games will stay the same excluding the Florida game.
Rivalries gone too far?

Why do people of opposing teams feel the need to physically or verbally attack opposing fan members? After the Ole Miss vs. Texas game (not really a rivalry, but a good example) an Ole Miss fan was brutally beaten. Referees begin receiving death threats. Coaches facing unemployment over one game, and now an Alabama fan shot after the LSU vs Alabama game. How can people address this issue without limiting the freedom of opposing fan bases? Or should people just sort it out amongst themselves?
