Not sure. Some time after the start of the war in Ukraine, so 2014 or later. I know because one of my best friends is from Turkiye and I met him in Kyiv before the war broke out.

My thoughts are that "First contact" will happen once we are able to achieve interstellar travel.

Or maybe we're the most advanced. First contact will happen when we land on a primitive world where the people shite in their hands and smear it on their own faces and the space progressives will start shuttling them to earth and handing them EBT cards.
Check out the piss mattress pro, it's a game changer

Trump wants black children to get run over waiting for the school bus in the dark.
We have a natural right to violent revenge but we all agree to suspend that right and have government enact retributive justice on our collective behalf instead (to avoid neverending blood feuds).

When the government fails to uphold its side of the compact, one could argue that man has a moral imperative to reaffirm his natural rights.

Tons of options on Amazon, none really stick out from reviews/popularity.

IMO none of them stick out because they're all basically the same device designed to the same specifications to do the same thing. We've had two for about 12 years. I think one came from Walgreens and the other came from Amazon. Knowing what I know now, the only thing I might've done different is looking for one on Amazon that came with spare accessories like the cup that you squirt the Albuterol into because I lost one along the way.
I used to get the cases of Warsteiner from Costco because they are (IMO) reasonably good and they were something like 90 cents a can, but they've not been in stock for quite some time. In the fall months Costco used to have different varieties of reasonably priced Octoberfest cases but I don't remember seeing them in 2025.

Other places I've looked (Rouses, Sam's, etc.) seem to be overpriced and/or just alot of Michelob, Miller, Budweiser and so on which isn't especially to my liking. I like the Yuengling traditional lager but some variety would be nice.

Started at 1.

Once you get to 9 and 10 we're basically at the carcinization of console controllers not counting the Wiimote.

Two sticks, 8ish face buttons and 4+ shoulder/rear trigger buttons. Size and shape varies but to me they're all the same controller.
I can't believe that the mayor hasn't fixed in the last ten days a problem that has grown worse and worse for 30 years. I'll never vote for him again.
According to WAFB

quote:

The Baton Rouge Zydeco appear to be shutting down after the team’s president indicated staff departures and layoffs in a social media post.

The post thanks the players, staff, interns, and ownership for their contributions over the past three seasons.

The team has not released a formal statement confirming its status, and it remains unclear whether the organization is permanently ceasing operations, relocating, or undergoing restructuring.

I still say it was a gigantic mistep in failed branding to name the team the Zydeco instead of the motherfricking Red Sticks. Whole team should've had blood-red hockey sticks and they should've sold merch that really emphasized that. Big red foam hockey sticks to hit people with at the games, logos and mascot(s) on clothing that played up the red stick motif with blood, flames, etc. People really eat that shite up.
I may be too optimistic here, but I'm hoping this actually puts a little downward pressure on ticket prices from the "good" airlines.
Maybe people have something interfering with their brain function and that interference causes disrupted sleep and eventually Alzheimer's.

I'm suspicious of placing the blame on personal habits and not environmental factors. I suspect our poison foods do this to us.

These are the same sickos that call their dogs "fur-babies"

OLOL, BR General, and Ochsner are all probably equivalent in competency for most things.

OLOL is usually going to be more capable for severe trauma especially head/neurological like gunshot wounds to the head.

General has a reputation for being more capable for severe burn victims.

Hunting bullet doing what a hunting bullet is designed to do, not what a FMJ will do

In this case it's probably the opposite.

Regular store bought FMJ 5.56 for an AR-15 typically conforms to 55gr M193 military FMJ standard.

55gr FMJ 5.56 ammo will aggressively fragment at something around or over 2700 fps as I recall, which standard 16.5" barrel AR-15's will have out to somewhere around 200 yards.

Conversely, actual hunting ammo for 5.56 tends to be soft point 65gr or heavier rounds and they as specifically designed to NOT fragment and instead flatten out wide with a straight and predictable internal trajectory upon impacting the body.

US Navy should take total control of the strait. Charge all these other pussy countries if they want to use it
