re: Saving for a safari trip
Posted by wfeliciana on 12/5/20 at 4:54 pm
I have done Tanzania twice. Group of 3 and group of 5. Used Good Earth Tours for private safari..just your group and your driver/guide. They'll plan a trip with you. They are based in Arusha but have a US office. Get your travel agent to work with their US rep. Moderate pricing. Highly recommend them. I like Tanzania much more than Kenya. Excellent trips..nothing like it!

Sure it does, you just don't like what it does mean.

Well I'm certainly happy about it.

Well considering she got 3 million more votes than the orange guy you may just be underestimating her popularity but carry on with your ignorance.

Oh, I am still with her. As was the popular vote. But he won and we're fricked. Just hope it doesn't get too interesting. :wah:
I'm stunned

As I said I am stunned as well as heartsick. But he won, that's it, and now we have to support him and hope for the best.

It was fun for a few months. As I have always said, I will stand behind the President of the USA, even it is not my candidate. We're on the same team now.
Yep, I'm stunned but that's why we vote. Sun comes up tomorrow regardless.

For Rome: Buy a Roma Pass, you get 3 museums/sites free then others are discounted and you will have a special expedited line at museums and Colosseum, etc. Well worth the $$ just for the expedited entry. Make a reservation before you leave for the Galleria Borghese or you will not get in. Do the Palatine Hill same day you do Colosseum. Go to Ostia Antica if you have time. There is so much to see in Rome you will barely make a dent in a week.

We are looking to stay in Sintra because that's close to the wedding venue. Anybody have any experience in that area?
I've only day tripped there. It's beautiful. Several things to see there so hard to cram it all in a day. Sorry but no help to you as far as restaurants, etc. If you stay in Lisbon it's very easy to take the train into Sintra for the day.

Check out the Time Out Market. It's a big food hall comprised of various vendors. Many of them do small plates, so you can order from several different places and enjoy a few dishes at once
Second this recommendation. I loved Lisbon. Check out Trip Advisor for restaurant listings, they do a good job with Lisbon. Seafood is awesome in Lisbon!
IMO this is great city to wander in, very walkable.

I think it's Les to Texas.

Exactly this! .500 SEC record last three years plus 1-9-12 dealt Les' fate.
Personally, I'm tired of paying for expensive tickets for mediocre performance because of coaching.
Leslie will have a job at a major school within hours if he wants it.

Les, hands down.

We'll probably end up with Mullen and a destroyed program.
