Very "Charlie Alexander-esque" I would say - tough yards inside the tackles.

"Feed me the ball" works sometimes!

Will it look good? Doubtful, but wins are wins, right? Unfortunately they keep O in current position

Yep, just ask OU fans - they're still buying that "we're number 2,3,or 4!!" And ESPN and the media keep "OU" in its current position.
Shank?? Ha-Ha! OP has definitely no idea about how easy it is to miss a 5-6' right to left putt for a "righty", especially under pressure.

I don't think I've ever been more perturbed at a sports analyst than when an ESPN reporter stated that Tom Watson had "choked" by bogeying 18 in The British Open a few years back - hitting an 8 iron dead online from 180 yds and allowing for at least 50' of rollout and still having the ball trickle over the back edge for a difficult "up and down" is not a "choke". Neither is Sam's "lip out" a "shank" or "choke".

Insofar as the putt is concerned, the golf analysts were all saying the putt from the other side of the hole "should" break right-to-left. Matsayama's putt did not - plus, Sam's previous short putt from the other side of the hole was shorter and a bit more from the lower side of the hole. Ancer's putt and Harris' putt both broke (a lot), and I believe Sam thought it best to ram it in rather than risk playing the putt outside the hole and it not breaking in. He hit a good putt, but in retrospect, should've allowed for slightly more break. Tough lip-out and great courage coming back from the double-bogey. The back 9 played tough, if anyone was paying attention to that. Sam went 2-under, even with that double.

Choker/Shanker?? No way! OP should stick to hopscotch or tiddly-winks - something he maybe knows something about.
No doubt that OU will have one of their better teams next year - they should continue to defend their home field pretty well as they've done in the past.

The big problem for OU will be the road games - they haven't been terribly consistent over the past 10-15 years in a much weaker conference, so what makes you think they'll excel on the road against the LSU, Bama, GA, FL, Auburn, aTm's of the SEC?? In fact, I don't see them going without a blemish against some of the lesser teams each year (you know, the S.Carolina's, Ole Misses, Miss State's of the world). Those teams stand toe-to-toe with Iowa State, KState, and OK State. And, these are the toughest opponents each year in the Big 12 outside of the Horns.

Prove me wrong??
piano is great in Year of the Cat, but the guitar solos are definitely a highlight.
Steely Dad has several -

Reelin' In the Years
Rikki Don't Lose that Number
My Old School

My favorite SD song, though, not so much guitar related - Pretzel Logic

Add to that:

From the Beginning - Emerson, Lake, and Palmer
Stairway to Heaven - Obvious Choice
Year of the Cat - Al Stewart
Just Got Paid - ZZ Top
Francine - ZZ Top
You Keep Me Hangin' On - Vanilla Fudge

And what'll you do now, my blue-eyed son?
And what'll you do now, my darling young one?

I'm a-goin' back out 'fore the rain starts a-fallin'
I'll walk to the depths of the deepest dark forest
Where the people are many and their hands are all empty
Where the pellets of poison are flooding their waters
Where their home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison
And the executioner's face is always well-hidden
Where hunger is ugly, where the souls are forgotten
Where black is the color, where none is the number
And I'll tell it and speak it and think it and breathe it
And reflect from the mountains so all souls can see it
And I'll stand on the ocean until I start sinkin'
But I'll know my song well before I start singing

And it's a hard, it's a hard
It's a hard, and it's a hard
It's a hard rain's a-gonna fall
Moody Blues - The Day we meet Again

Life is Beautiful, Sophie's Choice, Nobody's Fool are also good ones.

Some of my dad's favorite jokes were "hair-lip/lisp" related. Here's one:

Alphonse (hair-lip) goes to the race track to check out a horse he wants to buy. The trainer pulls the horse out of the stall and allows Alphonse to check out his teeth and other body parts while the trainer holds the horse in place. Alphonse then says "Lemme see her twat!". The trainer proceeds to go to the back of the horse and pulls up its tail for open viewing. Naw, Naw, Naw!, says Alphonse. Twat around, twat around!
Have you been to Norman?

It's a really cool college town. It snows year round - not as exciting as Athens but right there with Oxford just a tad bigger.

Please inform us as to what's cool about Norman - been here for 20 years - Riverwind Casino is the only entertainment for these kids - nothing else. Weather is about as fickle as a 2-bit prostitute.

What are the odds.......

of any voter being fined or imprisoned for sending in a late mail-in ballot, while voting in person?

I'm guessing that the party that wants to cheat will convince their voters that there is no chance of getting anything more than a hand-slap (IF CAUGHT). The excuse would be "I heard that there was a lot of fraud going on with people throwing out my mail-in ballot, so I wanted to make sure my vote got counted...so, I decided to go to the polling center and vote in-person.

Somebody tell me I'm crazy to think this will likely happen....in droves!!
Unless he's a cancer, which I have never heard anyone say about Shelvin, you don't keep him from returning IF he's committed to busting it hard and being ready for at least mid-season games. We need the experience and depth, and I assume Coach O will be pushing him hard to make up for lost time/practice to ensure that the other players don't feel slighted - maybe benched for the first 2-3 games??
Burns short-sided himself a minimum of 3-4 times in Round 3, plus a couple late in the final round or he wins this tournament. He lost this tournament "between the ears".
