and I believe these types of people are the majority of Americans. People who are in the middle of the political aisle. Who are registered Democrats or registered Republicans but share views on some issues. The media on the other hand does not want you to believe this and tries (and is relatively successful) to make people believe otherwise.

With all the division and utter madness that is being perpetrated on both sides of the aisle (mostly left), would the United States rally together to kick some arse if we were attacked by another country? It's hard to see though the political fog now, but my instinct tells me if SHTF, we would strap up and handle business as AMERICANS. Kind of a "siblings will beat the shite out of each other, but as soon as someone else tries to mess with my brother... it's going to be on!" type of deal.
