Short term, maybe. But long term, Drummond has elite potential. Barnes' own ceiling puts him somewhere between Luol Deng, Paul Pierce, and Danny Granger.
If Barnes becomes around those guys, him along with a Eric Gordon (assuming we resign him) would be a pretty good combo.
As much as I hate Scola, he did average 18 points a game last year

I personally prefer the Clippers also. If we get Gordon and Jordan with Minny's pick it will be perfect. If we get Curry, I feel as if we will remain mediocre. But if we have that pick, we have they chance at a top 5 pick and getting a potential franchise changing player, (i.e., Barnes, Davis, etc.)

As frustrating as his offense can be he is a key to the defense. Ariza is at least an adequate starter
As everyone knows, we weren't the greatest offensive team. If we happen to get Curry and Thompson, we have two solid offensive guards. So having Ariza as a good defensive presence will be beneficial.

when has winning the SEC become not a big deal? :banghead:
Because we want to win a title you idiot
Did no one see the cheap shot on Mathieu 5 yards into the endzone after he scored on the punt return?
Couldn't believe that wasn't called. TM7 could have gotten hurt on that.

He also beat Bob Stoops, twice I think, while
he was at OSU.
he was at OSU.

Tommy Casanova laying out Johnny Musso in the '69 game. Bama fans claim the hit occurred out of bounds, but no flag was thrown.
Halfback pass from Gilbert to Andy Hamilton works every time against Auburn.
Danielson is excellent. He is extremely fair.
Who should I start at WR?
Posted by Mattm011 on 9/30/11 at 1:39 pm
I have Desean Jackson, AJ Green, Anquan Boldin, Jeremy Maclin.
Mike Vick's injury makes me nervous about playing Jackson or Maclin.

I have Arian Foster currently at my flex. If he doesn't play who should I start?

Cedric Benson vs. Cle
Ochocinco vs. Mia
AJ Green vs. Cle
Felix Jones vs. NYJ
Jeremy Maclin vs. StL
Pierre Thomas vs. NO

Sadly, you are correct. I have been going to the games since I was 5, some 48 years ago. I have an undergraduate and graduate degree from LSU and was involved in LSU athletics while in undergrad. I have 2 kids who have graduated and 2 that are current students.
People on the Rant may not want to hear this, but it is true. The only times I have had problems with unruly fans has been with other LSU fans. I am sure that other schools have their jerks too, it just seems we have more than most.

It was then that I realized Archer was toast.
This was my first game as an incoming freshman. I had been in the stadium for many games growing up including Notre Dame.
Tigers hung in with the Huskers, and sitting on the 45 yard line (the student section went from the 50 yd line around to the north stadium in those days), I thought at first, that Conway had made the FG.
Crowd was good, atmosphere was good.
What I remember, however, is that our LB who had a great game and blocked a FG, was arrested later that night after a bar room brawl in which someone was stabbed. Tragic event.

I don't think we were a major underdog. The Tigers were a top 10 team. The year before we went 10-1 (losing to Rice in game 1) were #4 and won the Orange Bowl over #7 Colorado by 2 plus touchdowns.
Going into the Cotton Bowl we were 8-1-1 beating #5 GA Tech and losing to #6 Ole Miss (a power back then)by a TD and tying nemesis Rice.
Texas was #4 and we were #7.
You might be thinking about the 1966 Cotton where we were 7-3 and unranked and beat #2 Arkansas 14-7 snapping a 22 game winning streak by the Hogs.

Stovall (21) and Casanova (37).

Saban losing a commitment? Can you say, "Pat White"?

Warren Rabb has to be in there. I think he held the record for consecutive SEC wins until Jay Barker.
