when we moved here I never considered this to be a yankee state (MO)and for those that I know here(southern MO) They don't either. After following the rant for some time now it appears some things have never changed even after 150 years. There are still many yankee sypathisors in this state just as there have always been. Truth is there were such in many more confederate states as well but nobody seems to bring that up much. I am proud to be from the south weather you call it the south or not. And I love me some sec football. And if we ever have to go into battle with the rest of the union on the grid Iron I'm glad them missourians are on our side. :dude:

I work in Fayetteville occasionally and it is a nice town the folks are nice to but cant tell any difference in the hospitality sorry you had a bad experience.

Live in West Plains to, I was born and raised in central ark. I love it here in the hills and rocks. Don't know where you ordered tea and had to put sugar in yourself. Did you live here long?

I live in southern mo and I aint no yankee. granted you get above 60 highway and folk start talkin all proper and such. But around here yankee is an insult in the highest form. Go Hogs!!!
