re: Could Miles have done what Saban did at LSU?

I often wonder if Saban could have done what Miles has done? Follow a great one.
re: Skip Bayless says LSU is overrated!!

We are overrated at this point. It is not debatable. If anything, the media is doing a favor by pointing this out over and over...lots of time it motivates a 19 year old kid.

Looks like a pudgy Chad Jones without the slider.

I was at work today and got wind that he might have been released. I am sorry if this is old news but I have had limited access to media forums. Any truth or substance to this?

re: Can Miles crack that Nutt?

I think Ole Miss may be the 2008 Clemson. They won't go 7-5, but Houston Nutt is a much better coach without the bullseye on his back.

"This is a courtesy visit because you're afraid to compete with Clausen, right?" Weis asked him. Internally, Crist fumed.
"That got his ire up, got his competitive juices flowing," Weis recalled. "That's when I knew we had a chance of getting him."
Crist had been leaning toward LSU, a logical fit considering that starting quarterback Matt Flynn was just months from graduating.
But Crist couldn't get Weis' words out of his head. "He got under my skin, I'll admit," Crist said.
This pisses me off, and I bet Crist is still kicking himself.

Will Calipari bring the FED Ex internship program with him to Kentucky? If KY fires BG for Travis Ford, that would have to be seen as a failure.

I think Sean Miller would be a great hire.

Travis Ford would have to be a letdown from that group. No way Kentucky fires Gillepsie to hire Travis Ford.

"It's actually a great feeling to know that LSU has a quarterback with the passing skills and potential that Jarrett Lee possesses, in addition to other scholarship QBs on LSU's roster. It's obvious that J. Lee played too early in his career last year, but this is beating a dead horse since we all know why that happened.
I still have bad memories of LSU having backup quarterbacks like Brian Sparacino, Melvin Hill, Sol Graves, Jesse Daigle, Marcus Randall, et al."
--Agree completely. LSU fans rooting against J. Lee just don't get it. JJ benefits the most by Lee doing well and pushing him.

As long as he does not show up for surgery in those high white socks, I think you'll be alright.

I heard one about him and Erin Andrews. And that was the day he became my favorite coach next to TJ.
