Lots of good info in this thread already. I'll add my $.02

When my german shepherd was a puppy, I kept her on a leash next to my bed. Whenever she would cry, I would reach down and pet her, just to let her know I was there and it would calm her down. Also, set alarms.. take your pup out every 2-3 hours during the night (& day). Don't use newspapers/pads. You don't want pee and poo in the house.
He will be potty trained in no time.

ETA: If you're brand new to raising a dog.. I can't recommend this book enough: The Art of Raising a Puppy

I'm from the area. Stay in Florence, AL.

Corinth sucks, nothing to do there. Zero night life, besides one crappy titty bar. There's a couple of good places to eat, but nothing compared to what Florence has to offer.

Downtown Florence has several really good restaurants. I recommend The Pie Factory(pizza), Ricatoni's(Italian), Rosie's Cantina(tex-mex), or City Hardware(American). A few bars in the same area, On the Rocks, Wildwood Tavern, etc. Stay at the Marriott. Relatively new hotel that overlooks the river, awesome pool, and good in-house restaurant, Swampers.

Drink coffee, start a fiber-heavy diet, whatever you gotta do. Just quit dipping and quit cold turkey. Don't try to "taper off" or any of that BS. Man up and quit now before it ruins your mouth and possibly your face!

More DDOS attacks tonight. I'm on Kel'Thuzad.. pretty much unplayable atm. I remember when WOD launched there were ridiculous que times for days. I haven't sat in que once since Tuesday.

Finished Stormheim last night and Aszuna today. Both zones were interesting and really well done.

I'm all for compliance, however, in this case, the officers never explained what was going on, asked for ID, or showed a warrant. They asked his name and he told them twice. Why not keep a level head and discuss the situation before immediately resorting to force?
