re: Sub $500 espresso machine....

I have the De'Longhi Stilosa from that article. Regardless of price, it makes fantastic espresso, and for $100 it really is unbeatable. Buy a coffee grinder and you are all set.

Agreed that Legal is fine at best. I really enjoyed the Sail Loft for fried seafood and thought their clam chowder was fantastic. Being right on the waterfront made for great views and people watching.
Umberto’s Pizza is a place that’s only open for lunch that I thought was a can’t miss. The square slice was incredible and the vibe was old school neighborhood joint, which is my kind of place. Regina’s is in Little Italy and also had a pretty solid pizza and was open for dinner.
Neptune Oyster was really good, although be prepared to wait because the place is really small. I still enjoyed the hell out of the lobster roll and raw oysters we had.
Trillium had my favorite beer but Harpoom Brewery was a more fun hang. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

I recently switched to a 4 wood/7 wood combo and absolutely love it. My miss is left, so the hybrid just exacerbates that problem. The 16.5 degree is so much easier to hit off the turf than the standard 15 degree 3 wood and I barely sacrificed any distance. Highly recommend for drawers of the golf ball.

Gino's atmosphere is so overrated, its past the "charming old-school italian" vibe and become a place desperately in need of a renovation. Give me Nino's every time.
The only time my wife and I went to Nino’s, I wasn’t very impressed with the food. Everything was severely lacking in salt and the vegetables in my ragu were pretty undercooked. The gnocchi and the salume flatbread were very good though.
I actually think Digulio’s has the best atmosphere and food, even though it’s not as “fancy.” I know that’s not the majority opinion but has been my experience. Digulio’s is the best date night restaurant in town IMO.

My advice is to go to Canebrake or Timberton instead. If you must play Shadow Ridge, buy a 12 pack in the clubhouse and consume the entire thing during your round

John's Roast Pork in South Philley has both a killer roast pork sandwich and my favorite cheesesteak. Definitely get the roast pork with broccoli rabe. Jim's on South Street is also a solid cheesesteak. As always, gotta go with whiz and grilled onions.

Restaurant recommendations for Tulsa/Broken Arrow?
Posted by Seymour on 5/2/21 at 11:31 am
I’ll be headed to the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area for a 4 day work trip soon. I’m looking for lunch spots in Broken Arrow, but we’re willing to drive into Tulsa for a nice restaurant for dinner. Very flexible as to style of food.
TIA

I tried the porchetta sandwich at Canatella's Grocery yesterday on a whim and it instantly became one of my top three favorite sandwiches in BR. Delicious pork with fresh basil and spinach, mozz, some type of aioli, on a very good ciabatta roll. I will definitely order it again.

Our refrigerator died over the weekend and our new one won’t be here until next week, so we’re trying not to have any leftovers. Perfect excuse for a steak
