Mateer is not a runner, and their offense on the whole has been lacking, much like ours.
That pretty much is their whole offense.

We will struggle to beat another SEC team with the offense the way it currently works. Arkansas did whatever they wanted against Ole Miss and we made them look like one of Saban's defenses. It sucks to have a one dimensional offense, but it's really bad when you aren't elite in that one dimension.
I promise you it is not even close to the worst. I watched LSU in the 90's! However, I would agree that they are perhaps the most disappointing. Maybe I was wrong to have high hopes for our ability to throw the ball around. I am willing to accept Kelly's explanation of playing winning football. We saw what it was like to put up video game offensive numbers and lose three games. I'm willing to see what we look like against defenses that aren't as tough as the ones we've played. Clemson is allowing 3.17 per carry; Tech is allowing 2.96, and Florida 3.03. On the other hand, Ole Miss is allowing 5.36 per carry. If we struggle to run the ball against them, then I'll be ready to panic!

I know people hate this type of football
I like winning football, I don't really care how ugly it is. However, we consistently get into 3rd & short situations and can't convert and that is a problem. That inability to run the ball when we have to is going to keep leading to 3 and outs, and that defense will get tired. That shite doesn't happen against a playoff team. The defense played 76 plays last night, and that is not a recipe for success no matter how good the defense is this year.
Just Win Baby!
Georgia might have had a chance to win that tournament, they were on a roll at the end of the year.
Yeah, Strake Jesuit is a 6A school. The district isn't the toughest, but he put up over 200 yds and 2 TDs against Fulshear. Fulshear is 11-0 and ranked 9th in the state.
The coaching staff should have called timeout. We were clearly discombobulated and not on the same page. There was a lot riding on that play!

Has Ibeita been banged up? I didn't hear anything about him from spring game I was at my dad funeral so missed it.
At the beginning of the telecast he was shown in shorts and a jersey. I assume he had some type of injury.

Absolutely loved getting to watch LSU play this weekend and seeing Texas get swept!

Even Clyde wasn't Clyde when he first got here. He sat and waited and blew up in 2019.
I would like Durkin

I coached at a 2A school just outside of San Angelo for five years. Anthony, which is on the OTHER side of El Paso, was in our football district!

In order of appearance.
Tom Hodson
JaMarcus Russell (being a bust in the NFL shouldn't negate his success here)
Joe Burrow
Jayden Daniels

I haven't understood why we are all up in arms about this basketball team. The NCAA damn near killed our program. McMahon took this job knowing that it would take time. It's not like we were making Final Fours under Wade and we had some of the best talent that money could buy! Give the dude time to get players in here. We're not good, we knew we weren't going to be good, yet most of us seem shocked that we're not good!

I thought it was an automatic ejection
Bama's first two are always going to be Auburn and Tennessee. Maybe we're the 3rd rival, or maybe they choose A&M. I think we keep Florida, A&M, and Arkansas, but I'd like to keep playing Bama every year. Hell, I'll hate not playing Auburn annually!

Face it, LSU isn’t getting to Omaha with this year’s team.
The baseball program has been living in the past for a long time now. We didn't make it to Omaha with last year's team. In fact, we've only been back to Omaha three times since winning it in 2009. We don't need to put all of this angst on Johnson and this year's team, the program has been propped up by past accomplishments for a while.

Making them sit out a year would discourage the free agency that has taken over college football.
Damn, that’s all you need to know right there! How many years did we bring in dual-threat QBs and try to force them into a pro style offense?
