Per Yahoo Sports: The second game of the night in Friday’s women’s Final Four was the exact opposite of an offensive shootout. In fact, it was admittedly ugly at times.

But Lauren Betts and the Bruins got the job done. For them, that’s all that matters.

UCLA absolutely shut down Texas and Longhorns star Madison Booker offensively on Friday to pick up a 51-44 win in their national semifinal game at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix. That sent the Bruins to the NCAA national championship game for the first time in program history.

What a shite show that was. Comically bad basketball by any measure. UCLA had 23 turnovers and still won by 7. That’s how bad Texas was. FUGLY. Congrats USCe… UCLA going to get blown out of the water.

Officiating was the worst part of that game. Women’s game is what it is…but letting it be that physical makes it worse.
