I played rugby in college. Sometimes I think football would have fewer injuries if they did away with all the pads. I layed out some MFs back then but always clean tackles below the waist where I had leverage and could wrap up. I don't ever recall a serious injury occurring in any rugby match I played in and there were plenty of hard hits game in and game out.
