Three South Carolina Basketball Players Plan To Enter The Transfer Portal

South Carolina is expected to lose three basketball players to the NCAA transfer portal when the spring window opens up in April.
On Monday, it was reported that Eli Ellis and Jordan Butler would be departing the program. Ellis appeared in 28 games for the Gamecocks this season, averaging 8.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Butler averaged under 3 points per game this season in a reserve role.
On Tuesday, Forward EJ Walker is the latest Gamecock reportedly leaving the program. Walker played in 22 games this season with six starts as a freshman. He averaged 2.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
