Tennessee DB Ineligible For 2012 Season

Tennessee announced Thursday that redshirt junior defensive back Izauea Lanier is ineligible for the 2012 season. There was no explanation for his ineligibility in a release by the university. He played in all 12 games for the Vols last season, starting nine. He recorded 48 tackles, good for sixth on the team, and broke up four passes.
