South Carolina state representative Nathan Ballentine has proposed that in-state rivals Clemson and South Carolina must play an annual football game each season by state law. According to a report, House members will consider Ballentine’s proposal on Wednesday. Clemson and South Carolina have the longest consecutively played rivalry in the country, having faced off for 103 straight years.
