LSU DE Montgomery To Honor Lattimore

Starting against Alabama this weekend, LSU defensive end Sam Montgomery will prominently display South Carolina RB Marcus Lattimore’s No. 21 on the tape he wears on his arm for the rest of the season. Montgomery had initially requested to switch his jersey number from 99 to 21 but was forced to pursue other options in light of two other Tigers players having that number already. Montgomery grew up in South Carolina. “He is a dear friend,” the defensive lineman told LSU SID Bill Martin.
