Big news for Bulldog fans as the nation's top-ranked defensive tackle Trenton Thompson committed to Georgia Tuesday. Per ESPN:

The nation's top-ranked defensive tackle has made his decision: Trenton Thompson, the No. 6 overall recruit in the ESPN 300, committed to Georgia Tuesday.

This is a big win for the Bulldogs, who have been after the Albany, Georgia, prospect for some time.

"Georgia, they were my first offer," Thompson said. "They were the first coaches that came down to see me and showed me the most love. Georgia has great coaches, and I have good relationships with them. The fan base has also showed a lot of love, and I also think that in the classroom Georgia can help me be the best student I can be."

Here his commitment video from Tuesday:

Auburn is a pre-school for boys who can not live in the real world.

He will only end up at auburn if we kick him off and you guys take him in and baby him. Nick Marshall smokes pot and nothing happens?? I would be disappointed in my school! You guys have no ethics and have not for a long time. Sad for any one that is an auburn fan. You play by the rules in the real world, if you don't consequences you don't learn.
