Week two SEC Football Player of the Week awards were announced on Monday night:
Offensive Player of the Week:
Maty Mauk, QB , Missouri
-Finished the day 21-for-32 with 325 yards, 5 TD's and 1 rushing TD.
Defensive Player of the Week:
Cliff Coleman, DB, Ole Miss
-Recorded the Rebels' first pick-six since 2011.
Special Teams Player of the Week:
Elliott Fry, PK, South Carolina
-4 for 4 on FG's & 3 for 3 on XP's.
Freshman of the Week:
Jalen Hurd, RB, Tennessee
-23 rushes for 83 yards and 1 TD.
Offensive Lineman of the Week:
Max Garcia, OL, Florida
-Recorded 3 knock downs.
Defensive Lineman of the Week:
Preston Smith, DL, Mississippi State
-Recorded 5 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 INT.
Offensive Player of the Week:
