Wilson Alexander of The Advocate reports that LSU veteran running back John Emery Jr. suffered a torn ACL during Tuesday's practice and will miss the rest of the season.
Emery Jr. had just made his recovery back to the field after suffering a torn ACL vs. Florida last November.
Emery Jr. was LSU's most productive running back in the season opener vs. USC, rushing for 61 yards and ten carries. Now, Josh Williams and Kaleb Jackson will carry the load for the rest of the season, with freshman Caden Durham as the next man up in the rotation.
Sophomore Trey Holly has still not been cleared to play due to his ongoing legal situation.
