Rece Davis Says The Ole Miss Job Is Better Than The Florida Job For Lane Kiffin

During the College GameDay podcast this week, host Rece Davis discussed the rapidly deteriorating situation at Florida with Billy Napier.

If Napier is ultimately fired at Florida, many believe Lane Kiffin would be the top candidate for the job.

However, Davis thinks that Kiffin potentially leaving Ole Miss for Florida would be a lateral move. Per SDS:

“As I said earlier I’m not the biggest fan on this but I also can’t ignore the obvious,” Davis said. “You can’t ignore the obvious and pretend they won’t go after Lane Kiffin. As I sit here right now, Lane Kiffin has a better job right now, and he is at best making a lateral move.”
