The ClarionLedger.com is reporting that Ole Miss sophomore offensive lineman Rod Taylor injured his shoulder in a non-football related activity.

Taylor missing any significant amount of time this season would be a substantial blow to Ole Miss’ already-thin offensive line, which finished 12th in the Southeastern Conference in sacks allowed last fall.
Taylor had been working as the Rebels’ starting right guard in fall camp.

Not the kind of news coach Hugh Freeze wants to hear...
