It has been almost a month since Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham was dismissed from the team, but according to reports, he has still not been released from his scholarship.

Eastern Illinois, considered a potential landing strip for Green-Beckham, checked on the matter Monday and was told the player is still with Missouri and can't discuss enrollment with a new team, according to EIU media relations director Rich Moser said.

A report from 247 Sports surfaced last week that Green-Beckman was likely headed to Eastern Illinois.

Missouri spokesman Chad Moller said the school is unable to discuss details of Green-Beckham's enrollment, citing Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
Missouri's spring semester ends on May 16, and it is possible that Green-Beckham could be released then. He was dismissed on April 11 after details of his role in an alleged burglary surfaced.

Missouri has signed DGB's release. His parents are forcing him to finish the semester before they sign the release.
