CBSSports.com is reporting that Mississippi State and Dan Mullen have agreed to a contract extension through 2017-18 season.

Mullen's contract can't run longer than four years because of Mississippi regulations, so the Bulldogs are essentially adding a year to Mullen's deal. The deal is not yet finalized.

Mullen, who reportedly makes close to $3 million per year, took MSU to four straight bowl games for the first time in school history. After a 4-6 start to 2013, the Bulldogs rallied with wins over Arkansas, Ole Miss and Rice in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
Do you think Mullen deserves this new extension?
