The NCAA said in a statement that Gurley, who has already missed two games for the No. 11 Bulldogs, would be eligible to return Nov. 15 against Auburn.

Georgia is nearing the three-week mark since Gurley, a star tailback who had been among the top Heisman Trophy candidates, was indefinitely suspended Oct. 9 while the school investigated allegations he received improper benefits for signing autographs.
Georgia issued the following statement regarding the NCAA's decision:

Tuesday afternoon the University received the decision from the NCAA Student-Athlete Reinstatement staff regarding the University's request for the reinstatement of Todd Gurley. The University plans to appeal the decision immediately.
Gurley has rushed for 773 yards with eight touchdowns and has averaged 8.2 yards per carry through 5 games this season.
