Georgia linebacker Davin Bellamy was arrested early Saturday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. Per Dogbytesonline.com:

Bellamy, a redshirt freshman, was arrested by Athens-Clarke County police and booked into the Clarke County Jail at 5:02 a.m. and was released at 6:22 a.m, according to the jail’s online booking report.

Under Georgia’s athletic policies for DUI arrests, Bellamy is facing a suspension of 20 percent of the season, which would be two games. Georgia opens the season with games against Clemson and South Carolina.
