Per the Associated Press, Gus Malzahn said it was "probably unlikely" that D'haquille "Duke" Williams would play for the Tigers on Saturday, citing the knee injury Williams suffered in the second quarter of Auburn's upset loss to Texas A&M. Williams took a helmet to the right knee, needed assistance to leave the field and eventually went to the locker room on crutches.

Malzahn described Williams' current status as "week to week." Citing sources, al.com reported Sunday that an MRI indicated Williams had not torn any ligaments, but that the junior had suffered a sprained MCL and bruising to the knee.
Williams leads the Tigers with 38 receptions for 609 yards and five touchdowns.
