According to expense reports obtained by CBSSports.com, Alabama spent $2.56 million on its trip to the College Football Playoff semifinals in New Orleans.

Ohio State spent $4.4 million and Oregon $3.8 million on two CFB Playoff trips.

Interesting... the revenue structure is kind of tough to wrap your head around, but it seems expenses were covered by the college football playoff (see note 4)
