BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Aug. 22, 2024)-----Georgia placed a league-leading 15 players on the 2024 Preseason Coaches All-Southeastern Conference Football Team, the SEC announced on Thursday. Alabama was second with 14 representatives, followed by Texas with 10.

Twelve schools had at least one first team All-SEC representative, including a conference-best five from Georgia. Nine SEC schools had multiple first team selections.

The SEC begins the 2024 season Thursday, Aug. 29 when Arkansas faces Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Little Rock, and Missouri plays host to Murray State.
