According Bovada, an online sportsbook, Tennessee head coach Butch Jones and LSU head coach Les Miles are listed as favorites for the opening at Michigan. Here are the odds:

Good Lord. Why cant Michigan get it? Miles has already turned Michigan down twice. LSU has the highest paid staff in the nation and both OC & DC earn 1.3 million per season. Miles earns 4.3 million and with incentives easily tops 5 million. LSUs facilities are among the finest in the country and LSU has one of the best recruiting bases in the country in Louisiana & Texas. Miles has been at LSU for 10 years and has won 3 SEC West titles, 2 SEC titles, played in 2 NC games, and won 1 NC. Miles Miles has LSU ready to compete for another NC run in the next 2 years. Miles has 3 kids in school In Baton Rouge and BR is their home. Miles Is supposed to give all this up to go coach at UM simply because
he played at UM 40 years ago? RIDICULOUS!

Well it won't be Miles or Jones. And to add to the mystery/speculation, Cowert just said it'll be someone who is coaching this weekend and that MI fans would be happy with the hire.
