Mississippi State head coach Rick Ray wasn't too fond of Ole Miss's Marshall Henderson yapping near the end of the Rebels 82-63 beat down of the Bulldogs. As Henderson walked by Ray with 6.3 seconds remaining he appeared to say, “F*ck you, State,” and then it appears as if Ray said, “F*ck you,” back at Henderson.

Rick Ray issued an apology Sunday afternoon for the incident...
quote:

“I responded inappropriately to an Ole Miss player [Saturday] in our game,” Ray said in a statement he texted Sunday. “I reached out to [Ole Miss] coach [Andy] Kennedy immediately to apologize and subsequently to the player too. There is no reason for a coach to ever have interaction with an opposing player, ever, regardless of the circumstances. I was more upset with our performance than the player. I was totally at fault.”

It's better to have players who sucker punch people?

Most every school has players who don't walk the straight and narrow.

So Marshall said something to elicit a "F U" from the opposing coach.

Henderson must have been all up in his head.

I'd be more ashamed to be losing to him. How's that feel 3rd Row? BWAHAHA!

Marshall Henderson is the "new" athlete that America wants, cocky and just enough talent to back it up. I expect we'll start seeing more Marshall Hendersons and Richard Shermans as time goes on.

I would take him at LSU. Sorry, but I'm that desperate to win.

Ole Miss fans should be ashamed to have this kid representing their school.
