After his head snapped back violently back at the hit, his head had whiplashed back forward when he hit the ground. So no, his name plate hit the ground with his chin forward.

What part of his helmet hit the ground?

None, it went back at the hit and Stockton held his head up to see if it was caught. You can use YouTube so you don't keep talking out of your arse.

On a big screen you can see Stockton's helmet lift from contact with the Ole Miss players helmet crown

The replay doesn’t show forcible contact to the helmet, but his head does move forward after the forcible contact to the shoulder. As his body hit the ground, so did his head.

The helmet lifted, that's forcible, the defenders helmet hit his face mask
QBs have protection beyond targeting for hits that high and low. His head snapped back at the initial collision. Your judgement still sucks.

The defenders helmet did not have forcible contact with gunners. His head snapped forward as his shoulder was forcibly hit, and it snapped back as he landed on the ground.

There is no foul for a hit to the shoulder outside of……

1. “unnecessary roughness”, which most would call a wussified call.

2. “targeting” via forcible contact with the crown of the helmet”, which didn’t happen.

We disagree on forcible, his head snapped back which tells me the crown of the defenders helme hit him in his facemask.

the end.

It actually snapped FORWARD at the time of contact. It is clear where the ole miss dude hit him:

Facemask (NOT CROWN) directly in the sugar bowl logo of his left shoulder.

This is why the booth didn’t initiate a review.

It’s natural for the head to move FORWARD with this kind of hit. This is not evidence of targeting. It’s not evidence of forcible contact to the head. Hell, It’s not evidence of ANY contact to the helmet. We saw this type head movement with the Bullard hit vs Harrison. There were wrong to say it was targeting.

Yawn, the booths initiate and dont initiate all kinds of things far less than that. The crown hit Stockton's facemask, not physically possible not to from where the contact was....

I told you early we would agree to disagree but you don't have the IQ to understand that. Move on child.

Either your memory sucks, or your vision sucks.

The guy didn’t strike the qb with his own crown. It was his own face mask.

The guy didnt strike the qb’s face mask. He struck his shoulder.

You are disagreeing with what actually happened because you have bad memory and/or bad vision. Your imagination is wrong.

Targeting is always called when it’s forcible contact to the head of a qb.

The rules go above and beyond to protect qbs, so it’s dumb to disagree with the call on the field and the booth.

It's pathetic you want the wussification of the sport to go next level. It’s dumb to want targeting to include hard hits to the shoulder

Dracula: We have a saying in the old country, "Nostoi vleckla de moi pushta."
Van Helsing: They also said, "Stanisha ploftoi cog mul pafooft."
Dracula: I'm very impressed Van Helsing, you speak the ancient Moldavian.
Van Helsing: Fale dadalitca.
Dracula: Koplai. Well gentleman, I will take my...
Van Helsing: [interrupting] Manusssh!
Dracula: [pause] Leave... I see, Van Helsing, that you are a man who likes to have the last word. I will not be drawn into such a childish exercise.
[turns to leave]
Dracula: Polashtoi.
Van Helsing: [laughs] It is immature to me, who has the last word.
[quickly faces away]
Van Helsing: Volatnik!
Dracula: [getting agitated] It is getting late, we will carry on this conversation at another time. Goodnight.
Van Helsing: Goodnight.
Dracula: [as he closes the door behind him] Abalutza!
Van Helsing: [annoyed] Such arrogance. It is easy to see why the decadent aristocracy is dying out in that part of the world.
[quickly opens the door]
Van Helsing: FUSHTA!
[slams the door shut and walks back to Harker and Seward]
Van Helsing: Gentlemen, our work is not done. The vampire is still among us. You must remember he is cunning. He has the wisdom of centuries. And above all, he will never give up.
Dracula: [walking by the open window] Kirvanya!
Van Helsing: Ugh, that man! He never gives up!
