If not for this unfortunate turn of events, right now we'd be at 53 or 54 straight home wins and talking about catching Miami at some point this season and setting the all-time record. Woulda coulda shoulda been cool. I blame James Coley, Rodrigo Blankenship's eye doctor writing the wrong prescription, as well as Dan Orslovsky.

After 2015 I never thought, at least for the rest of my lifetime anyway, that we would have another OC as bad as schottenheimer. Lo and behold it only took four more seasons to have stiff competition for that.

At least give South Carolina some credit.

You are the South Carolina of this board. I'll figure out the reasons why later, but they'll all be shitty reasons

You have really ashy and red arms. You definitely need some lotion and probably need some blood pressure medication.

I'm on two. They work. But I'm still a red-dicked Irishman.

Why did you derail your own thread?

I was at that game. I just recall the offense really struggling and us finding every way we could to lose that game. I have to give Muschamp some credit. It seems like he had his team really fired up for that game.

Was there also, was definitely UGA finding a way to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory type of game. My BIL and nephew went with my wife and I, told them they couldn’t go to anymore games after that since they were clearly bad luck.

I will give their recruiting staff credit for recruiting a legit NFL-level secondary player, I suppose that's giving credit. That's about where I'll stop though.

SC's starting QB, who was aight, left with injury. That team went 4-8 and we couldn't even beat them with their backup. That speaks FAAAAAR more to our shittiness than it does to them overachieving.

We threw 3 picks (to the same guy!!???!?) and lost a fumble. We missed FGs. SC had less than 300 total yards of offense through 4 Qs plus 2 OT. What all of that tells me is that our defense did really well (as usual in 2019) and our O and ST was horrific.

I don't see people giving SC's defense credit for Quincy's 5 INT in 2000, it's just "man quincy frickin sucked and was probably on drugs or hungover from them", so Idk why we'd all of a sudden need to give them credit 19 years later instead of just admitting that coley had a dogshit gameplan and fromm played worse than arse.

At the restaurant/bar where my stepbrother was watching the 2017 national championship game, he swears that there was this young prancing little redneck who was telling the bartender and everybody within earshot that he was Jake Fromm's secret high school boyfriend and then ge flashed pics on his phone of Jake Fromm in bed looking really gay and naked. I asked my stepbrother why he looked at the pictures of Jake Froom gay and naked, and he didn't really have a good answer, so after that for a few years I wondered if Jake Fromm and my stepbrother were both gay. Interesting times!

Less SCs defense and more the stupidity of not mixing up who we were throwing the ball to on plays scu prepped for. Quincy was a one read guy who reportedly had a Tony Montana like lust for nose candy.
